is there any truth to these claims about the astra zeneca vaccine?

or the covid vaccines in general?  that they can make underlying health conditions worse?

i worried about hearing that because i had the covid vaccine on saturday just gone, and i also live with and manage type 2 diabetes and i'm a male aged 43.......i do my best to manage the diabetes, and i would be devastated if the vaccines would make the condition worse.

does anyone have any thoughts or reassurance about this? as i worry easily and are a worrier.

Update:

thanks all answers.

You need to get hard facts from reliable health sites instead of people and sites who don't know that they are talking about and are antivaxxers. It's up to you and nobody else on how you will listen to.

The facts are that many people get minor aches and pains and only very rare reactions occur consistent with any other vaccine like the flu vaccine. Any serious reactions like blood clots are not any more encountered compared to coincidental numbers seen in the placebo group. There's no hard proof that the vaccines have caused any deaths. The numbers are growing and large in people already vaccinated and have all the same numbers seen with regards to side effects and efficacy have been consistent with the large studies comprised of 30,000 people tested normal only about 7-8000 in previously approved vaccine studies.

You can vastly improve your diabetes 2, or perhaps reverse it, if you start on the ketogenic lifestyle.  It's the truth, i know a number of people in my ketogenic group on facebook who have accomplished this and more.  That's how you manage diabetes 2.

YouTube has many videos about the vaccines which are discussed by medical professionals and scientists.

Astra Zeneca - the one with aborted fetal cell lines IN it.

Well, we have about a year's worth of testing behind it - it looks pretty good so far.  But vaccines for a coronavirus have never been done before.  I hate the way they have done it, but I hope the millions - maybe billions - who take these vaccines will not be harmed by them.

If you had these concerns you should have spoken with your doctor before having he vaccine.  Now, it's kind of late.

Realize that there is limited testing on all the vaccines.  During phase III testing almost all the testing was done on individuals who were healthy aged 40-54.  Diabetics were specifically excluded.

-- there has probably not been any control testing with diabetics.

We know people have had serious complications with the vaccines.  You can see a report on the CDC website.  However, all vaccines have some complications.

There is no way to know if you as an individual will have unique complications.

The Astra Zeneca vaccine is no longer being used in many countries.  If this is the one you received, you should monitor your symptoms to ensure you don't have any complications.

In response to the comment about Keto and diabetes:

Keto is HORRIBLE for diabetics!!!  Do not do keto if you are diabetic!!!!

Keto is high in protein which puts tremendous strain on the kidneys.

A vegan diet is much more beneficial than keto for diabetes reversal.

AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has been suspended from use in multiple countries now, while they sort it out. The same issues have not been reported for any of the others as far as I know. Those who have had covid and get their first injection, have a reaction for a couple of days. Many who have not had covid have a reaction with the second dose for a couple of days. Supposedly those few who do have reactions, the reactions are mild enough to deal with.

Yes, there is some truth to it.  There are many reports that people with underlying conditions can be made worse.  And the Astra one(which is not approved even for trials in the US) seems to have the most issues.  But there are other reports on the US vaccines as well.

This is what TRIALS are for, they are for testing the vaccine and seeing if there are any issues.  But unlike trials in the past, where there may be a few thousand the Government and the propaganda arm (AKA Media) have basically minimized that the vaccines are still considered "EXPERIMENTAL" basically getting millions of people to beg to become a lab rat.   Even with your underlying condition, you were still a low-risk person and basically are playing Russin Roulette.

If you have had no issues after a couple of days you are likely okay.   A relative of ours who is in Health Care had the vaccine and had a reaction within 24 hours where they were in the hospital for 5 days after the first dose.

So I would like to reassure you, but there are also reports that indicate that the second dose of the 2 dose vaccines often creates worse symptoms.

The vaccine does nothing to preexisting conditions.

All it does is try to prevent you from catching covid. If it doesn’t, then it’ll prevent you from being killed by covid. If you get covid, it’ll lessen or shorten your symptoms.

Nobody knows what the long term effects of the vaccine will be because there just wasn’t enough time. It took about a year to make the vaccine and release it to the public. Everyone that got the vaccine are guinea pigs and remain so until several years down the line when it’s declared that the vaccine is safe.

"European Medicines Agency has since concluded the vaccine did not raise the overall risk of clots."
