Lying is rampant on Yahoo answers. True or false?

People will give false information all the time.

Consequently, the answers on Yahoo should never be taken at face value due to the very fact that people are usually prone to give false information.

    Yes, that is true.

    But I have to point out that YOU are a major contributor to false info, with all those insane 'questions' claiming that all the government rep for country X or Y have just died, that you destroyed all the armed forces from country Z and so on.

    You should seek psychiatric help and get a life.

    Very true.  Lying is one of conservative users' top three favorite techniques here, tied with incongruous whataboutisms and general inability to parse basic English.
