You lied.  She did not say that using the term surge to describe "stops" was wrong. She was not responding to anyone who referred to "stops" as a "surge."  The only person who said anything about "stops" being related to a surge is you.   

Nobody has mentioned "stops", she didn't mention "stops", so no, she's not describing "stops".  Nobody is talking about "stops" or calling "stops", "surges" instead. Think about it.  A stop is when you encounter someone and stop them.  So it doesn't make sense to call a stop a surge. The words are used to describe two different things.  A stop is like a single thing and a surge describes aggregates.

Is there any words in the dictionary that are still not racist?
