it is 99 degress in Iowa. it is supposed to get down to 19 degress tonight. will a hurricane form ?

    No

    Hurricanes form in the ocean, and need water of 86F or higher to survive/thrive, they quickly get ripped apart inland, there is a reason they only last 12-24 hours. 

    You can expect strong straight line winds however.

    No.  Hurricanes occur in the ocean - Iowa does not have an ocean.
