    depends on the power used by the oven and the time it is turned on.

    eg, if the oven is 5 kW and you turn it on for 2 hours, that is 10 kW-hr

    $0.15/k-Wh x 10 kW-hr = $1.50

    For a 5 kW oven operating for 12 minutes (one batch),

    cost = 5kW * (1/5 h) * $0.15/kWh = $0.15 ◄ a

    If you do ten batches of cookies, that takes two hours, and

    cost = 5kW * 2h * $0.15/kWh = $1.50 ◄ b
