Why do Trumpers keep insisting that Trump is a Christian?

Soldier...:   The trumpsters have been completely and totally brainwashed.  

They're deluded - just like Satan intended. This is a guy who couldn't stay faithful to any of his wives, never mind faithful to Awmighty Gawd. I'm not a religious person, but I can spot a lying phony from a mile away. I'm an agnostic, but I know enough about Christianity to see that very few Trumplings  put Jeezus's teachings into practice. They're all about hatred, when Jeezus's biggest command was to "love one another." 

   If there is a Heaven, Trump won't be there; or if he does make it, he'll be washing the feet of all the people who he's denigrated and defrauded. Jeezus washed the feet of his disciples, to show that he was their servant. That would be Hell in itself for a self-aggrandizing narcissist like Trump. Imagine that - Heaven would be Hell for an arrogant turd like Trump. He wouldn't be able to stand having to humble himself in the face of the people who who he had insulted and ripped off. For Donald, Heaven would be a punishment, not a reward.

   Isn't there a passage in the Bible that says "he who humbles himself shall be exalted, and he who exalts himself shall be humbled," or something like that? Surely Trump won't be able to escape that.

Christianity is a default position. It’s what you are if you’re not something else. It’s all about Christmas trees and Easter eggs.

Beats me.  He's not. He never attends church unless he's the center of attention.  He doesn't tithe. He doesn't belong to any church. He knows nothing about the bible. He doesn't make any effort at all to live any christian values.

christianity or whatever is just a label it means next to nothing to me, it's what you do, how you act, how you treat others, that determine your value and your moral worth as a person
