Is the CDC still forbidden to study gun violence as a public health threat?

The CDC is now allowed to fund research into gun violence. 

The 1996 Dickey Amendment had previously barred the CDC from spending money to “advocate or promote gun control.”  Dickey was a Republican congressman who described himself as the National Rifle Association point man.

You know, you assclowns have an agency that exists to regulate and study guns. Stop using whatever agency you want for it. For that matter, we have FBI crime statistics that tells you what number of violent crimes involved a gun, stupid a*ss. 

Oh and once again, leave our gun rights alone. If you can't elect politicians that respect the peoples rights then stop voting.
