Are we for equality of opportunity or equality of outcome? The former is capitalism at its finest, the latter is socialism at its most ?

destructive. America is NOT a socialist nation. Yet but these maniacs infesting our Capital are not finished yet. Just wait, the man who worked harder, invested his earnings in a factory will be forced to beg forgiveness for his sin of success.

Nobody, not even actual communists, advocates equality of outcome.

People who are born in wealth and those born in poverty definitely do not have the same opportunities in Capitalism

Equality of outcome and equality of opportunity are the same thing. If I don't have your work ethic or your intelligence or your attitude towards saving then I don't really have your opportunities. We should aim for the greatest good for the greatest number, irrespective of whether that happens to be equal good for each of them: 4 + 9 is better than 5 + 5.

It's important that I say 'good' not money because of reducing marginal utility.

Remember that we're not socialist next time you need a police officer, government services, a teacher, or a fireman.

Capitalism isn't equality of opportunity, or equality of outcome. It only appears meritocratic and equal to those at the top.
