Bought a used ford focus w/ custom rims, 17 tires. I used to have the same car but stock, 15 inch tires. Can I safely put the stock rims on ?
On the " new" car? Any risk if adverse effects kr what?

As long as the hubs and / or suspension hasn't been changed, "no problem", but you may need a wheel realignment.
