Should I have switched high schools?

long time ago my high school as I remember was riddled with black people white people were there also. 

The white girls never wore makeup and hung with black girls. The white girls carried these bully thug type attitudes. The majority talked in ebonics.One time I stuck up for myself against a white girl, and the next day I had a black girl hitting me pushing me trying to incite a fight with me. They didn't know when to quit. She was trying to get me to say something to her so she would roll with me.I have seen other guys defend themselves towards someone and then get gang jumped by a group of black people. I had another incident I remember where I reported a black man and he tried to get me gang jumped. I remember students being pulled out of my classroom by police officers and arrested. I would hear rumors of students trying to bring guns into classrooms. In that particular time, many people told me going to a different highschool would be like jumping out of a skillet into a frying pan, broad as it is long.
