Since covid vaccine is only effective for 6 months does it mean every alternating semester will be online?

Let's say for Fall 2022 everyone is vaccinated.

By February 2022 the vaccine is no more effective. That means covid risk all over again and time for new vaccine doses.

Because the vaccines take months (2 doses 3 weeks apart for millions), it's not possible for spring 2022 to be on campus.

So that means every spring it's online and every fall it's on campus, right?

How come no one talks about this?

Just like flu vaccine needs a shot every year, same here.

So I don't see how a 6 month protection vaccine is permanent solution

Your basic premise is incorrect.  Covid vaccines do not become ineffective after 6 months.  They are so new, however, that not enough time has passed to do long-term scientific studies on them.  Consequently, at this time doctors cannot state with medical certainty if the vaccines remain effective past 6 months.
