Why don’t liberals support Republicans? Don’t they believe in diversity ?

I supported them when they were the moderate and reasonable political party in the 1970s and supported unions, abortion, and the environment. It wasn't until Reagan formed his alliance with religious groups to help him get elected in 1980 when that all changed. The party as it is today is way too extreme and it has no room for those who are more moderate in their views.

Of COURSE we support republican people.  That's why we pay so much more in federal benefits to red states than they ever pay in federal taxes.  We've been giving them welfare that way for DECADES.  It's just failed republican ideas we don't support.  For 40 years, no tax cut ever "paid for itself."  You guys gotta stop telling that lie.
