No they weren't rejected when Trump "endorsed" them.  BTW Pfizer didn't take a PENNY from Op Warp Speed.  Their mRNA vaccine was developed in Germany by a Turkish couple, and they were first to market.  However, the hydroxychloroquine Trump spent months pushing was indeed rejected.
