Is the reason liberals lie to blacks during election season becasue it makes them feel better about themselves or do they just want votes?

I would guess that because that is why you lie to “blacks”, you are projecting it onto liberals.

They want the votes.

The plan is to never help them so they can make the same promises next time. if they actually fixed something then:

a) They would need to think of something else to promise next time.

b) They might want to keep their new situation and so no longer be Democrats.

Blacks are still owned by Democrats.  The civil war just gave blacks citizen rights so Democrats couldn't torture and murder them legally for amusement anymore.
