Native English speakers, could you please help me with these issues?

1. Can the verb 'to fix' be used in this context:

"He FIXED my eyes, and asked me why I was so interested in that subject.

Note: By 'fixed my eyes', I mean he looked in my eyes.

2. And by the way, can the verb 'to move' be used in reference to 'eyes'?

For instance, is it correct to say:

"The animal is alive, as I saw it MOVING its eyes."

    1. I don't think you can use fix in that sentence.

    2.Yes you can use move to refer to someone's eyes
