Yahoo Answers Section: How long you been on Yahoo Answers?

I been using Yahoo Answers for a long time since 2008 many years I been on here 

I honestly aren't sure. They dropped the interesting feature that said how long we had been on. I know I came to live in this house in 2008. I had been using the computer in the library until I got one in 2010. The asker wasn't Black Panther at any time was he ?

Since 2005 when it started 16 years ago. My emoji used to be kind of a sponge bob with hands/ feet a ? mark on his chest, much later I went to the globe. It was a great open and free knowledge site for the 1st 10 years. Then in my IMO it got more and more spammed by trolls/potty mouth kids and especially 2016 on political machines/ political propaganda.

It's still a good site today if you just step around and ignore all the garbage posts (which they could filter out). 

But bottom line Answers does not make any money for Verizon who took over Yahoo 2018 and wanted to shut Answers then so another place of web freedom gone.   

Since some time in '05

about the exact same for me, actually........I was on another site, until April of 2008,  when that site imploded (much the way Yahoo is now)  and then  I looked around for another site to play on,  and came across Yahoo  within a month or so.... so I have been here since  early/Mid  2008. 

But then, walked away in 2010 cold turkey,  after my first two accounts were attacked by trolls and finally suspended.....(after being re-instated several times)........

and after the second time, I just said screw this, and walked away. 

But I drifted back in 2011,   a little over a year later....and have been here ever since with the same one account.    (clearly, judging by the points now!) 

Never thought in a million years my account would last this long!

I have been on this site for over 10 years, not even sure what year it was when I joined.  There have been a lot of changes over those years, not all of them for the best, but still a lot of good changes.

I shall be sorry to see the site go, although I do not spend as much time on here as I used to do.
