Because it's Government overreach.

There are laws against restricting one's travel, and modes of travel, for refusing to comply with even "optional" recommendations.

FWIW, every time you hear/read about "MASKS ARE MANDATORY"...the CDC DOES NOT MAKE LAWS, they make RECOMMENDATIONS.  Recommendations are OPTIONAL...but it doesn't stop stores, restaurants, etc., from making them mandatory.

What are you gonna say when they actually do become mandatory ?
