Difference between turf grass management and landscape management ?

I am looking into going to school to become a golf course superintendent. I am having trouble deciding between two schools. college of the desert and Spokane community college. One of them offers a turf management program and one offers a landscape management program. Is there much of a difference? Would I still be able to get a job as an assistant superintendent after graduating with a landscape management degree?

Personally, it sounds like they both suck AND blow.  I'd go with underwater basket weaving instead.

Turf grass class would be on grass. Which would be important on a golf course.  Landscape would be decorating with plants, trees, scrubs.

I would say make sure you have an Associate degree. Not just a certification from your community college

Find jobs you want and read what requirements they require. Then get the education needed.
