Should I rewatch the whole series/season of a tv show if I stopped watching it years ago or should I just go back to episode I last watched?

Thinking of finishing some anime series and live action series which I haven’t watched I’m years like naruto shipuuden which I left unfinished in 2017 or jojos bizarre adventure which I didn’t finish in 2018 or dexter which I started watching last year and didn’t finish past season 3

    You should only watch it again if your memory of the early episodes has become hazy.

    I think Naruto is worth watching until the end. Am not a fan of the Boruto series though
