How come majority of Christians do not understand that Hell is designated for Satan and his followers NOT people?

Hell is the grave, the waiting place for the lost until judgment day, when they are tossed into the lake of fire (prepared for the devil and his angels) to meet the second death (Revelation 20)

I DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT U DO....SO STOP PUTTING EVERYONE IN YOUR SCENARIO....SAVED WILL RAPTURE....AND THOSE WHO FAIL JUDGMENT WILL GO TO FIRE...NOT TOO LATE TO PRAY folks.

Because that isn't true.  Outer Darkness was prepared for Satan and the sons of Perdition, not hell.

Hell is a temporary condition of purification from sin.  Hell is never forever.  Rev. 20:12-14 shows that death and hell must both be emptied and destroyed so that the resurrection and final judgment can take place.  There is only finite punishment for finite sin.  God's love, justice, and mercy are all intact.

Because the majority of Christians were indoctrinated differently than you were, with a different set of false assumptions. You don't actually UNDERSTAND that Hell is as you described, you just BELIEVE that Hell is as you describe. I believe there's no such place at all, and no such individual as Satan. The difference is that I UNDERSTAND that my opinion is simply a belief, and you don't.

There are verses in the Bible that state people will be sent to

"Hell" ie The Lake of Fire.

Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Matthew 10:28 “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Revelation 21:8“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

There are so many contradictory definitions of hell, the only conclusion is that none of them are correct.

Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels...

Yes, that is what Hell was designed for

but the Bible CLEARLY teaches

that those humans who "fail" the Final Judgment will also be consigned there.

People going to torments in hell is all over the Bible.  Hell was designed for the devils but people will go there if they refuse to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.  And it's too late to be saved at judgment.  It's judgement!  Good deeds don't pay for sins.  Trying to be a "good person" doesn't pay for sins either.  Nothing we can do can pay for our sins.  That is why Jesus already paid for all of our sins with His death on the cross and His shed blood. The Lord Jesus Christ is God, and He loves you.  Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future, and means going to heaven and not hell.  Death leads to immediate heaven or hell, and it is too late to be saved, after death.  All believers still sin.  See 1 John 1:8.  To be in heaven and not hell, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God and who died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all of our sins in full, and who was buried, and who resurrected from the dead.  The only way to avoid hell is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, without adding any of your own works.  See Romans 4:5, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and John 3:16.

You obviously don't understand who Satan's followers are, or as the Bible says, the Devil's angels.  They are PEOPLE.  Folks who refuse to submit to Jesus Christ the Saviour.

There are only two kingdoms in this world.  One is the Devil's and the other one is the Lord's.

If you refuse Christ our Lord for Salvation - the One who is the only Saviour (for there is no other name under heaven, given amongst men whereby we must be saved Acts 4:12) - then YOU ARE IN THE DEVIL'S KINGDOM

So at the end, you will not go to eternity with The Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour, but with the Devil into eternal torment.

So make no mistake. Christians are not confused about that - you are.
