nope. what's wrong with being named. George? I'm the black girl with the name Kaitlynn and even white people are surprised when I show up. People joke that my name "sounds white" but that's an ignorant comment. I think it helps me get job interviews more than I would if my name was something people consider to be "more black" like Keisha or Monique. I'd never change something about me to please others. If you choose to change your name make sure you're doing it for you.
