Has anyone at Downton found out yet about the time Lord Grantham kissed the female servant a couple seasons ago?
Or is it still a secret only the viewers know about?
1 AnswerDrama6 years agoWhat do I do about my sparse eyebrows?
I have not overplucked my eyebrows, I have never ever in my thirty plus years plucked them. My eyebrows are fairly tall if that makes sense, like if the hair was really dense and dark my eyebrows would be catepillar like. However my eyebrows are fairly light despite being a brunette and there are not many hairs, so there is no natural shape to them even if I wanted to make them pretty. Do I go to a salon and see if they can teach me or do I just learn to accept my eyebrows as they are? I always think makeup looks much better on faces with pretty eyebrows. Opinions?
4 AnswersMakeup6 years agoSlightly blurry cross stitch pattern?
I have found a free cross stitch pattern and it is slightly blurry so when I printed the first part of the pattern it is too difficult to use as my pattern. So I am wondering in order to use this perfectly beautiful pattern do I have to transfer each stitch symbol onto 14 count graph paper? I found the pattern online but all details are in Russian characters so I can't even contact the person who posted it online. Any advice? Thanks.
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts6 years agoTracing genealogy and I need some wonderful English people to help me out.?
Tracing genealogy and I have an ancestor who was buried in Manston St. James church in West Yorkshire, but I have also info that mentions his death place being Leeds, Yorkshire West Riding. I understand that he could have died at one place and then been buried elsewhere. I love your country but I am an ignoramus about where the counties are, and shires, etc and so I am hoping someone can please help me out.
Thanks so much.
2 AnswersGenealogy7 years agoIs the occupation "driver" the same as what we would think of it today?
In the 1891 Leeds census my ancestor was labelled as a driver and so I wanted to be sure I was finding exactly what that was. I thought it could be someone who chauffeured people around but in 1891 wasn't that called a coachman? I also saw a definition that said a driver was a slave overseer but England abolished slavery such a long time ago I figured it couldn't be that. Could someone help clue me in to my ancestors occupation. Thanks so much.

2 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits7 years agoIs there such a thing as a printer connection for an iPad? Is there something for an iPad so I can type on a normal keypad?
Basically I am trying to find a way to use my iPad on the go but at home if I want to use it for classes or writing I would like to be able to do that. Can anyone tell me where to get these things if they even exist? Thanks.
1 AnswerPrinters7 years agoLooking for the title of an adventure book about canoeing I once read.?
I am sorry for giving such vague details about the book but all I can remember was that there were two or three canoes, so of course several people (all men)involved. And there was a line in the book that was so amazing, and it was something like "Now I know why primitive people worshipped the sun." Now with my crappy explanation does anyone know the book I am talking about?
I believe it was non fiction.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors7 years agoIs there a sewing machine where you can adjust the pedal speed?

3 AnswersHobbies & Crafts7 years agoWhat is this simple family tree page called?
There are printable forms where you can fill in just one families information. Father, mother, kids names, all their birthdates and places, death dates and places too. Each family unit would have one. What is this called so I can look up those simple forms? Thanks.
5 AnswersGenealogy7 years agoTurkey stock jelly? Is this still usable?
I made turkey stock in my crockpot and I let it cook for 7 hours. It tasted great, looked great and then I put it in my fridge and I knew it would solidify some, but it turned into jelly. Is this normal? I know there is gelatin naturally occurring so what I did was put two cups in each freezer container I had and am going to freeze it. When I go to use it will I have to dilute it? Or will it get back to a nice liquid state once it thaws out and heats up in a pot? Thanks.
2 AnswersOther - Food & Drink7 years agoWhat is a disinfecting officer?
I have an ancestor who was a disinfecting officer in North Leeds. There is another little bit of wording on the census (1901)but it is not legible. I am not from Europe so I am unsure as to what this job even is. So if anyone can tell me I would be very appreciative. Thanks so much!
