I've been looking into my conditions for over a year now, been trying different things, and after all of this research I'm almost completely certain that what I need is a prescription to Adderall.

I know that I'm not an expert, so I admit that I could be wrong, but its effects match up to most of my symptoms. I can describe these symptoms if anyone's interested...

So my question is: When I'm setting up a psychiatric appointment, should I just flat out tell them that I'm looking to be prescribed to Adderall because I believe that's what I need? Or just cut that part out and only explain my symptoms?

I feel it would save some time to cut to the chase about Adderall, but at the same time I don't want them to get the impression that I'm a faker trying to get prescribed to pills I don't need.

Say you are talking to someone and you ask what their hobbies are, and they begin talking about something you know absolutely nothing about and really have no interest in.

I feel like asking for details about a subject I know nothing about would only make the conversation awkwardly dwindle on.

My wife is crying in fear in her sleep right now to a nightmare and it irritated me, but she might want to stay asleep to get a good 8 hours straight sleep for all of that christmas cooking she gonna have to do in the morning and all the dishes afterward.
