  • Simple and Healthy but filling recipes needed, please!?

I am in the midst of a serious weight loss and am getting bored with the same old low calorie, low fat meals. I love to cook but so many healthy recipes call for weird ingredients that I simply do not have in my kitchen at all times. I'd really like meals including chicken, lean ground beef and pork that can be made fairly quickly and with as few ingredients as possible. Any nutritional information included would be great as well. Also...I am not looking for links to recipe websites. If I wanted that I would be Googling!

  • Looking for wedding petals?

I am looking for faux petals in unique shapes, not flower petals. I have seen some at Michael's craft stores in the shapes of hearts, stars, wedding bells, etc. but I'm looking for a more unique shape...not sure what yet...but I'll know it when I see it! :)

Any ideas where I can find these? I have Googled but to no avail. Thanks!

  • Does anyone else miss Ward Burton terribly?

Because I do. I'm a huge Gordon fan but my underdog favorite was always Ward. I even named my dog, Burton, after him, and always turned up the volume for his interviews. He's a hell of a driver and I wish someone would give him a fighting chance again.

  • Ornament stands for centerpieces?

Our wedding decorations are incorporating a lot of pearls. I found very cute wire ornaments in the shape of an S (my fiance's last name starts with S) covered in pearls, for a dollar each at Michael's. We'd like to use these are our centerpieces and hang them from very simple ornament stands like those many people use to display fancy Christmas ornaments. However, our local craft stores don't carry a wide variety and the ones they do are both unattractive and expensive. I've looked online but have run into the same problem. Anybody have any suggestions of where else to shop or websites I might be missing? Thanks!

  • Cheap recipes for really picky fiance?

My fiance is a very picky eater. No casseroles, nothing spicy, nothing that mixes any meats and cheeses together, nothing with dressing or gravy, etc. on top of it. I love to eat and try new things and it gets very frustrating to have to continually make the same 5 or 6 dishes he will eat and love. We're spending way too much going out just so I can have something new I like and he can still have his old, boring standbys. Anyone else had to deal with this? Any recipe ideas? I can't find anything suitable online but maybe I'm not looking in the right place!

  • Restaurants that deliver in Johnson County?

My fiance and I are both super busy right now...he's studying for the Bar exam and I'm planning our wedding and we're both working. A lot of nights lately we are just too tired to cook, much less go out for dinner. We're looking for some place other than pizza or Chinese that delivers in our area. I can't find anything searching online, but maybe someone knows something I don't. If it helps, we are in the Lenexa.
