I have a pic of an inscription on a birthday card my Japanese girlfriend gave to me. She's being a bit coy about it's meaning. Is there any website or other means of getting a translation?

My Mom is elderly and finds all the techie stuff a bit confusing. I want to get her a remote control that she can just press the channel number or the up and down keys and it will pick up the channel she wants. Having to choose the input source first and then having different channels on the same numbers is a bit confusing for her.

I was in someone's house recently and I needed a dump. I asked to use the toilet. I didn't really know these people very well, they were an elderly couple. But they showed me the toiled then they went into their sitting room to wait for me. I took the dump but the dam thing was a floater and the cistern was very slow to refill with water. Hi, I had a windows live messenger contact list that used to appear when I signed in showing who was on line etc. I know notice that about 90% of my contacts do not appear when I log in. If I do a search for contacts, in the search box, they are appear under "other contacts on windows live" with a link beside them entitled "invite to messenger".

What's going on? These were always messenger contacts until recently.

My Father had cancer of the bowel and had the tumour removed in March '08. The cancer had spread to the liver and other organs. He was undergoing chemotherapy until recently but now the doctors say that the chemo cannot help him any more. Can anyone tell me what is the likely progression of his illness? We all realise the ultimate outcome, but what can we expect on the road to that?

When carrying out a "site survey" with the WiFi Wireless VOIP SIP IP Roaming Phone WLAN Safecom,

it does not pick up the signal from my Cisco EPC2425 residential gateway router. The phone picks up signals from other Wifi routers in the area and all other wifi enabled devices can pick up my Cisco router. Have you any ideas what might be going on? I've reset the router a couple of times which will automatically change the channel on which the wifi is broadcast but this does not resolve the problem.

Can you look up something like IP address. I want to find out without them knowing I am looking.
