  • running tasks and processes?

I have win 2000 and when I look in the task manager there are soooo many things going on and I'm sure their not needed and taking up a lot of memory. Is there an internet site where I can find out what does not need to be running? I've looked all through microsoft.com and compaq.com (my pc is compaq) and could not find an answer. If anyone can help me please email me if you need more information. Thanks!

  • Why don't people do web searches?

I don't get it! If I can do a web search why can't you kids and some adults do it? For those who don't know how...just type the word or phrase you are looking for in your address box and hit go or type in google and then put the word in that search box! Simple and you might learn something. Don't be so lazy!
