Isn t there a quote that says something like: "The sheepman protects sheep from wolves, but he is the one who ends up killing them"?
I saw something like that recently, but I can t remember where... Have you ever heard that quote before?
1 AnswerQuotations2 years agoCan you recommend me a good movie, similar to Game Night?
Yesterday I was looking for movies to watch and I chose Game Night. I didn t regret it, I enjoyed it very much, it had the perfect amount of humor, mistery, action and even romance. It matched my mood perfectly!
Which movie should I choose today? Any good ideas?
2 AnswersMovies2 years agoHow long does someone have to watch a Facebook story in order to be noted as "seen"?
I have read somewhere that if someone watches the story for less than 3 seconds, it doesn't count as "seen" and the name of that person doesn't appear on the list of people who have seen it. Is it true?
Also, how is it possible that, for example, if my story consists of 5 photos, someone only sees the third, and not the first two as well? It would make sense if someone saw the first, and then decided he doesn't want to see more and closes the story, but how can someone only see a photo in the middle?

2 AnswersFacebook3 years agoWhat would be a good career change for a law graduate?
I have a master's degree in law and have 3 years of experience working in public administration. However, as a fantasious, creative person who likes photography, crafting, painting, writing and all kinds of creatinve stuff, who is a big animal and nature lover, I am starting to burn out in my current job. I'd love to change it, but I don't have an idea of a well-paid job that wouldn't give me stress and that I would enjoy doing... Any ideas?
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment3 years agoWhy doesn't my long distance boyfriend ask me how I feel when he knows I'm sick?
I have a long distance boyfriend and we used to have a great, caring relationship. Recently, he has found a new job and is very stressed about it, he said the situation is going to be hard for some time because he wants to devote to it to make a good impression. That's why we don't talk as much as usually (we used to talk a few times a day, and now only 1 or 2). The situation really is hard, but I understand it. Recently I got sick, I had a really sore throat which hurt me for days, and really bad. My doctor recommended me to rest. I don't feel bad, it's just that my throat is killing me. I don't understand how can my boyfriend ALWAYS talk to me about his job, and not ask me even once if I was feeling any better. All he said was that it's probably just an ordinary inflammation and that's all. Two days ago we talked and after some time I said I became tired because my throat was hurting me more because of talking a lot and all he said was how we will talk later if that's the case. This morning he told me to "keep resting" and that's all he said regarding to my health situation. Ok, I am not dying, but showing that he cares would be nice, right?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating5 years agoWhy does Viber say I was last online on a time when I was sleeping?
A friend says that Viber said about me how I was "last active at 4:30 am", but there's no chance for that, I was deeply sleeping at that time, and didn't touch my phone at all between midnight and 8:00 am. Why does that happen?
2 AnswersOther - Internet5 years agoHow much time is it normal for a 25-year-old to spend with his/her mother?
My family and I live in the same house but in separate flats (it's a house with 2 flats). I have lunch with them every day, and in the evening I go to their flat to take a snack and spend like an hour or so with mum. Lately she's accusing me that I don't ever show up, and she is giving me silent treatment (she makes sure she is already in bed in the time when I always go upstairs). When I ask her to come over to my flat, she says that she tried twice, and I was on the phone both times so she won't come anymore. I feel emotionally manipulated by her. I'm 25 years old, I'm not a child! What can I do to solve this stupid situation?

I love the Irish spirit! :)
2 AnswersMovies6 years agoIs it ok to wish happy birthday to a guy I like but he is in a relationship?
I am not the kind of person who wants to destroy someone's relationship, I do want him to be happy with that other woman if that's what he wants, but I'd still like to write him a thoughtful birthday message and wish for all of his wishes to come true, no matter what they are. He lives very far away from me, and his girlfriend would probably never find out I did it, but still, is it wrong or not?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoWhat can impress you on someone's FB profile?
We live in the social network era and it's not unusual for someone to add as a friend on Facebook a person he has never talked to but just seen a few times. It's a modern way to get started, find out something about that person etc. In this situations, what is the kind of "virtual" person you would like? What would make you think that knowing him/her in person is worth the effort?
1 AnswerOther - Social Science6 years agoWhat rock song has the words "don't stop believing" in the chorus?
It's not Journey's "Don't Stop Believing". I heard it on the radio, the voice sounded familiar but I just can't figure out the artist... :/

1 AnswerOther - Skin & Body7 years agoDid you ever want to friend someone on FB without knowing him?
One of the people from my FB friend list (not a close friend, just someone I know) recently friended someone whom I found very interesting... And I'd really like to get to meet him too. But I know that if I friend this person, he will have all the reasons in the world to call me a freak, because even I would think that of myself if I was in his shoes. Did you ever want to do something like that? In other words, am I the only one to have this sort of "first world problems"? ;)
1 AnswerFriends7 years agoIs it normal for a man to look for hot sexy girls videos?
Ok, so you will say yes, but I would like a more detailed answer if possible. For instance, if a man does that, does he continue doing it even in a relationship? And if yes, is that normal too? Is there an age when they stop doing it or does it just depend from person to person? And finally, girls, would you date a guy who does that? What do you think of men in their late 20s who still look for those hot girls videos?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoIs gluing with a hot glue pistol permanent?
My first work with a hot glue pistol was quite simple, I glued some decorative stones to a wooden photo frame. I gave it away as a gift and now, 3 months later, the person I gave it to tells me that they fell off! What could be the problem? Will my other work be "lost" as well? I made some towers made out of little stones, all glued with a hot glue pistol and I really don't want them to crash into pieces... What are your experiences with hot glue pistols?
2 AnswersHobbies & Crafts7 years agoDoes education determine the way men treat women?
I know that this answer can't be answered in general and that there is no unique "yes or no" answer, but I was wondering what your opinion is. For example, is there a bigger possibility that a high educated man treats a woman right instead of only thinking of her as a sexual object? Do you think the statistics work in their favor? Is it more likely that a women will be used by a less educated man? Or does education have absolutely nothing to do with that?
