Why doesn't my long distance boyfriend ask me how I feel when he knows I'm sick?

I have a long distance boyfriend and we used to have a great, caring relationship. Recently, he has found a new job and is very stressed about it, he said the situation is going to be hard for some time because he wants to devote to it to make a good impression. That's why we don't talk as much as usually (we used to talk a few times a day, and now only 1 or 2). The situation really is hard, but I understand it. Recently I got sick, I had a really sore throat which hurt me for days, and really bad. My doctor recommended me to rest. I don't feel bad, it's just that my throat is killing me. I don't understand how can my boyfriend ALWAYS talk to me about his job, and not ask me even once if I was feeling any better. All he said was that it's probably just an ordinary inflammation and that's all. Two days ago we talked and after some time I said I became tired because my throat was hurting me more because of talking a lot and all he said was how we will talk later if that's the case. This morning he told me to "keep resting" and that's all he said regarding to my health situation. Ok, I am not dying, but showing that he cares would be nice, right?

yes, it would be nice for him to show you more attention, but don't go crazy about that situation. Just telling him (in case you cannot talk, then text him) how you feel because he most be very overwhelm about his new job and new things, and most men are really bad at guessing what they are doing bad. so go straight forward and tell him what its bother you, and try to find a solution.
