Has my son seen enough Yugioh to be able to watch the latest movie?
My son's been watching repeats of Yugioh on TV, and I noticed a new movie recently came out, Yu-Gi-Oh: The Dark Side of Dimensions. I've never really watched Yugioh, so I don't really know anything about it, but I wondered if he's seen enough to watch this new movie without spoiling the rest of the series for himself. Now, he's 8. So, when I asked him where he's up to in the series, he couldn't just give me an episode number or title. He said "All the guys got sucked into this green thing, and then Yugi and The Pharoah got sucked in, and then the green thing broke, and they all came out again." He says this was the end of the series. I don't know if that makes any sense to any fans of the series, but could you fill me in? Is he okay to watch the movie?
1 AnswerComics & Animation4 years agoHow do you change the batteries on Chomp And Stomp Grimlock?
It's a large Transformer dinosaur toy. I can't find where the batteries are supposed to go, and it's not mentioned in the instructions. Thanks!

I have heard Minecraft on PC is a subscription service (that is, pay per month, like some MMOs). Can someone who actually owns Minecraft on PC confirm or deny this for me?
2 AnswersVideo & Online Games6 years agoIs there a greater chance of winning lotto by reusing your numbers?
Am I right in thinking that, mathematically speaking, the odds of you winning lotto are not changed by using the same numbers each week?
I mean, sure, if they were preventing the same combination of numbers from being repeated, it would eventually narrow down, but that's not what they're doing. Each week, it's the same, completely random draw. Your odds each week, whether you get new numbers or use last weeks ones, should be the same. Is that right?
(Because seriously, my husbands family is absolutely convinced...)
3 AnswersMathematics6 years agoTeddy's been coloured in! What do I do?
So, this happened. It's surface washable only, because it's a talking doll. And I'm fairly sure that isn't washable ink. I could try and wash just the face, risking the ink spreading, take the battery pack out and wash the whole thing, or just leave it. Or I suppose I could throw it out sneakily and get a new one.
What do you think?

I need a new bike. Just an ordinary, not fancy bicycle. I am 155cm tall, and my legs are 76cm. What size bike do I need?
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness6 years agoGot a tablet, which Final Fantasy game should I get?
So, I got an android tablet for Xmas, Square Enix is having a sale, thought I might get something. I already have 7, don't say 7, it's mostly the earlier games which are on sale anyway. I've got 3 on DS, but never got around to finishing it, but I'd rather not double up. They've got 1-6, at least, and maybe even 8 and 9.
So, which is the best early Final Fantasy game?
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games6 years agoTransformers 4, is it okay for little kids?
I was wondering what your opinion is regarding young children watching Transformers. My son is nearly six, and he does love Transformers, but the first three movies had a bit too much... innuendo I guess, so he wasn't allowed to watch those. The violence would have been okay. He watched the Avengers and didn't bat an eye, so I think that level of violence wouldn't bother him. The swearing in Avengers wasn't too bad either, and I haven't caught him repeating anything, so it'll be okay so long as Transformers 4 isn't too much worse. He hasn't seen Guardians of the Galaxy either, just because of the one scene in which they all get very drunk.
I had heard that Transformers 4 had less innuendo, on account of the main character being a dad instead of a teenage boy. Would you say that is true?
If there is considerably less innuendo than the other Transformers movies, and not too much more violence and swearing than the Avengers, would you say Transformers 4 might be okay for my son to watch?
3 AnswersPrimary Schooler7 years agoDoes episode 8 of Marvel's Agents of Shield have spoilers for Thor 2?
Haven't seen the latest Thor movie. Should I hold off on watching this weeks episode of Shield? Yes or No, please, I don't want to be spoiled for either the movie or the episode.
Thanks! :)
2 AnswersDrama8 years agoDo cloth placemats need to be plastic covered?
I got some nice fabric for Christmas, and I thought I could make placemats and coasters out of it. It's a reasonably thick material, sort of a light upholstery fabric. I've seen nice cloth placemats in the shops, but I've never actually used any. Are they impractical to use every day? Do they need to be covered or coated in some kind of plastic, or is it okay to just starch them?
6 AnswersCleaning & Laundry8 years agoWhat Nvidia programs conflict with Vista? Which programs don't I need?
Hi! A while ago my computer was having some problems, and I found out it was because of some extra program from Nvidia that conflicted with Vista. I deleted that program and it was all fixed.
Now, my husband's laptop has died so he wants to play his games on my computer, so he hops on here and updates all the graphics drivers, and just installs things all over the place. Needless to say, his game freezes every couple of hours and he starts accusing my computer of being crap.
Fair enough though, it is pretty old. Anyway.
I can't remember which program it was I had to uninstall last time to get rid of the conflict issues, and I think this time it'll be a different program anyway, since that was a few years ago and it's not like he'd have installed the same old buggy version. So.
I have:
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card, and pretty sure it's an Nvidia motherboard too.
Windows Vista 64bit, fully updated.
The Nvidia programs installed are:
NVIDIA 3D Vision Controller Driver 301.42
NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver 301.42
NVIDIA Drivers (maybe this is the installer?)
NVIDIA Graphics Driver 301.42
NVIDIA MediaShield
NVIDIA PhysX System Software 9.12.0213
NVIDIA Update 1.8.15
So, which of those programs do I really need, and which ones can I uninstall?
Thankyou very much for your help.
1 AnswerSoftware9 years agoHow are 3D movies for little kids?
They're releasing a lot of old Disney movies at the cinemas lately, and I think my son would really enjoy going to see one, but they're only showing in 3D. He's 3 and a half, and he's been to the cinema before, but he doesn't wear glasses often. If he has to wear sunglasses he's always playing with them.
I just wanted to know what peoples opinions are on taking kids this age to a movie in 3D. Were your kids okay after they got used to it? Is it a waste of money? What do you think?
Thanks!
5 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years agoWhat should I write on a Christening present?
It's my niece's Christening today, and I've bought her a little prayer book. Inside the cover it says "This book belongs to _____" and I thought I'd write a little message in there. But, you don't write "Happy Christening" or "Congratulations on being Christened" or something like that, do you? I don't know much about Christenings, since my family wasn't Catholic, but I'd like to write something that says "Congratulations on being a cute and healthy baby on the day you are Christened", or something, that won't embarrass her when she reads it ten or so years later. So, what do you think I should write?
Thanks!
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhat's a good Android backup app?
My Samsung Galaxy S needs to be reset to factory settings, but I don't want to lose all my contacts and apps, and most of all the save games. Is there a good free app that will back up apps and save games? I've seen a few that looked alright, but they needed ROOT. I'm not sure if that's a program or something that you do to your phone, though.
Thanks!
1 AnswerMobile Phones & Plans10 years agoIs the movie Red Dog okay for little kids?
I know there's a bit of beer drinking and a kiss at the end, but is there much swearing? My son's 2, so I'd be counting "damn" and "bugger" as swearing, probably. Depends on how it's used. Is there any fighting? And I know there's a romance, but do you think it's okay? A little innuendo is okay, since he doesn't get it, but if there's a sex scene, even if they don't show anything, or even too much kissing, that's not really okay for him.
What do you think?
6 AnswersMovies10 years agoShould I repair his blankie or just leave it till it falls apart?
My son is 2, and has a blankie. He went through a phase of ...well, eating fluff. Back of the couch fluff, floor fluff, and yes, blankie fluff. Kids are weird, what can you do? Anyway, he's nearing the end of this phase now (hopefully), but Blankie is looking a little worn out. Ok, it's looking like it was filled with sharp rocks and dragged behind the car for an hour. It's all over little nibble holes, and he's started poking his hands and feet through the larger holes, so they're stretching and ripping all around the edges of the blanket.
What I'm wondering is, should I fix it by sewing another blankie to the back, or should I leave it until it falls apart and hope he just grows out of it or learns to take better care of his things? If I fix it, he might decide he liked it better beforehand and chuck a sad every time he sees it. It's got so many holes that once I fix it, it's not going to be something that can be undone. That's too much bother, I don't want to start a war with him. If I don't fix it, it will start to deteriorate quite rapidly from now on. He'll be dragging round this disgusting old rag that I won't be able to wash anymore without it falling apart for good, until finally it disintegrates and he has to throw it out. And then he'll have this whole blankie mourning stage, and he'll probably winge about it for months afterwards. (I remember when I was his age and lost my favourite teddy - I was very upset for... well, kids that age don't have much of a sense of time, but I can tell you, it was more painful for my mother than for me). What a drag, I can't be bothered with that kind of trauma.
So what would you do? Fix it, or don't fix it?
5 AnswersToddler & Preschooler10 years agoHelp with a line of javascript that doesn't work.?
I don't know anything about javascript, and clearly neither do the people at my TAFE college who write the online course work. I don't know if I'll end up telling them about it, but to satisfy my own curiosity, could someone fix this javascript code? It's a link which, when you click it, should open in a new window.
javascript:doWindowOpen('ht tp://bizline.docep.wa.gov.au/safetyline/ media/ Risk%20Management .pdf', 'new_frame', 'width=600,height=420, menubar=1,toolbar=1, scrollbars=1, status=1, location=1, resizable=1',0)
I've stuck a few spaces in there so that it shows the whole thing, and so that it doesn't try to put a link here as well, but there were no enters or spaces in the original link.
Thanks for your help!
2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoCan you name this anime character and the series they are from?
Here is an avatar I saw on someone's livejournal, and I was wondering what series this character is from. They are wearing headphones, and a pendant that looks like a reverse bass clef, so it might be something related to music. Here the link to the picture:

8 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoWhat chapter of the manga is the Naruto Shippuden anime covering right now?
It looks like they are in fillers right now, and I can't be bothered watching so I've just skimmed like 20 episodes. From the wiki, it looks like it's fillers until the end of January at least. I'm don't have much time, but I wanted to know what happens next, so could someone tell me what chapter of the manga does Naruto finish his business with Pain so that I can read from there? Thanks a bunch.
