The neighbor behind me is on Government housing and much more. Which would be fine if she needs it and uses it as it was intended. But after her first year in this apartment she began dating an older gentleman, our next door neighbor. Now she has moved in with him, but the problem is she is still keeping the apartment and uses it; as I like to call it "her summer home". She goes there when they argue. My problem is, our tax dollars pay for this. This could be used for a family with children that Truly need it. She is making my life miserable and we are no longer aloud to speak to our next door neighbor because she doesn't like us, or anyone for that matter. The housing authority has been call (not by me) and they had to send a letter to let her know they are coming. WHY?? I am tired of paying for people who abuse this system, when it could be used by people in need. What are the laws and how do people get away with it ? Please only serious responses, there is much more to this but I don't have time, and you would get tired of reading. I stay in my house away from the "drama" and she still causes problems for my family. I have become such a recluse and I love my home, but am beginning to hate it here. I live in a very old neighborhood. Roads were built in the 1800's for horse and buggy.

Now to 2009 there is a layer of pavement over these roads, with the original sewer tiles under them. Within the last month our road has become a new route for a local metro bus. Which weighs 39,600 pounds. Our road is rated for 5tons.

We are trying to get help from the city, to keep these massive buses of our little roads. Our houses are about 20ft from the road and it shakes and rattles our house 52x's a day 6 days a week. Not to mention the gas lines under the road.

Does anyone have any research or input that we may be able to present to our city council. Our road is clearly marked a NO THROUGH TRUCK ROUTE.

This route they chose is only traveling 1 block past the oldest houses in this town, they were built in the 1840's and 1850's with still having the original foundations.

I am trying to locate jeans similar to JNCO. I can't afford the jeans for hundreds of dollars.

My son likes the JNCO's but they are no longer made. I am having trouble finding a website or store that sells baggy pants anymore. He is very thin and does not want the new skin tight pants for guys.

I know it was a horrible tragidy, and pray for each of them, but why won't the White House keep the flag at half staff until our military comes home ? We have a (or more) a day. I think our flags should be lowered until that time. But that's just my opinion.

Again I mean NO disrespect to Virginia Tech. or anyone else.

My ex refused to pay for a very long time, and owed about 15,000. He had to start paying after they picked him up on felony warrents for not paying. He now has a feleony record for this. But anyway he has paid for about the last three years, 22 dollars extra each week.

Now my child is emancipated, and the courts are saying his arrears are less than 1,000.

How can I get them to check the figures again ? I only received 80.00 a week for 2 kids. Not what I should have got, I did agree to the lower amount. I'm not complaining about the amount that should have been paid, but how could the arrears just vanish????

We bought a house a few years ago, found out it is 153 yrs old. We did some research and found the actual builder, he is buried in the cemetary about 1mile away from the house. It is a huge monument, very well taken care of. We often go visit the grave, and clean it up.

But his 6 year old son died in the home, we believe he may still be here. We have tried calling him by name, with no luck.

It is not a bad vibe or anything, it's actually pretty calm.

Years later this home was used as a funeral parlor, in 1840's.

Is there a way to contact any spirits here if there are any. It is a fascinating home. But would love to acknowledge any who still linger here. How can we validate them??

Please take time if you see one out, walk up and shake their hand and say thanks. At least they know people still care, and remember what they did. Take a little time and talk to our vets, it is amazing the stories they can tell. Ones that you may never read in a book or see in a movie. But get it from someone who was their, and pass that down to your kids.

POW-MIA NEVER FORGET

I would just like to say thanks to all the coal miners and their families. My grandfather was a coal miner, he helped start a few in WVa. He was in many collapses. When I was about 10 he died of black lung. But he said it was a good thing, cause it had a great purpose. I've missed him over the last 25yrs. but smile knowing he was a great man.

I know their are tons of life or death jobs, and would like to thank everyone. But Coal mining hits home, and just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to all.

I stopped becasue we have had so many bad preachers and so many bad things happen. I just felt I could be as close to GOD in my every day life.

going to Church makes you a better Christian, or closer to GOD ? Or is it what each person believes in their heart.

I bought a new suit for my father in law. He was picked to be a deacan at his church. Now since he does not have alot of nice clothes I wanted to do something kind for him. And to show him how proud I was of him.

A few weeks later he told me the preacher said thank you for the clothes, he liked them.

I then replied in a nice way that I did not buy the clothes for the preacher, but rather him. Because we are very proud.

Now he won't speak to me because he said I bad mouthed his preacher. I explained to him I ment no disrespect to the preacher. He did not care and has not spoken to us for over 2 months. Now he is going around telling people how horrible I am. I have always thought highly of my father in law, and tried to be kind and helpful. I have tried to explain but with no response. What now?

Bi-polar people are people to, and this one happens to be my child. And I wouldn't change him at all.

Beautiful car we just bought, we have replaced alot. But the car seems to want to idle to high. We have bought timming gun and replaced distributor, carb, and it is still running really rough. It has a blue printed racing engine. Is there something we maybe over looking?

If the teen shows up shows interest in learning and takes the job serious. Pretty soon they are going to run out of people with skill for the job and will have to train them anyway.

Kid people a chance to learn, instead of crying no one wants to work.

You know there are many beautiful people in the world (looks), until they open their mouth. We are losing young women to a quest to be thin.

He was about 2yrs. old, we found him dead the next day with the mouse still undigested or broken down. He was quite healthy and fine before he ate. None of our snakes have been sick, and he was the only one to get a mouse. The rest of our snakes are bigger and the eat rats.

Could it have been bad food? We have always fed our snakes live food since they first started eating, our older snakes are about 9 yrs old, and are all healthy.

Were just very sad and don't want to have this happen again.
