New computer-new ISP - what is Windows Live Mail?
Sorry everyone, but I'm VERY technically backwards.
I just bought a new laptop (my first experience with Windows 7) and also had wireless run into the house. With the wireless service, I have a free email account.
Except now when I click on a link on a website to send an email, I keep getting something called Windows Live Email popping up.
What is this? Do I need it? Is there some way to turn it off? Or should I be using this as my email?
Any help for this poor old lady would be very much appreciated :-) !!
Thanks
5 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoMost unexpected thing needed when baby came home?
Hi everyone,
I have a co-worker who is a soon to be a first time daddy (due in a couple of weeks).
I'd like to get them a few "happy new baby" presents, and was wondering what a few of the most unexpected surprises were when you brought baby home.
Shortage of diapers? Not enough spit-up cloths? "Oh no! We need X - go try to find a store open at 3AM." Those sorts of things.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

If my boss is continuously bad-mouthing my choice for President (and the party he belongs to) and it makes me uncomfortable because I don't really feel I can say anything back, is this considered a hostile work environment?
Besides going to human resources (which would probably be a waste of time as he's a VP), is there any other recourse?
Thank you.
6 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade agoHouse wide spider elimination suggestions?
I live in southeastern Wisconsin (USA) and have recently been over-run by spiders. I know they do more good than harm, but walking my face into webbing while trying to get to the coffee pot first thing in the AM means they have to go!
Since I'm going to be re-carpeting the entire house the first week of August, I thought that would be the ideal time to also attack the spider problem.
Does anyone have any experience with any of the 'bug bombs' or any other spider eliminators that are on the market? Could you please let me know what you thought of their effectiveness? Or any other great ideas?
Also, I have five house rabbits...I'm leery of using any of the 'ultrasonic' devices since I'm not sure how THEY would react to it. (The bunnies are going to the sitters while I do the carpet - they'll be gone for a week so I can set off bombs if that's the method that works the best).
Thanks in advance for any advise!
5 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoTipping or gift for postperson / trash collector?
Hello everyone,
This is my first year in a house (former apartment dweller).
Do you give a "holiday" gift or tip to the post person or trash collector? If so, how much?
Thank you.
9 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoAmateur rock collector looking for rock identification?
I have a number of rocks and minerals that I've gotten from a bucket of rocks that I ordered from Gem Mountain.
I've bought books, but I'm having trouble identifying a lot of them since there's such a wide variety of colors and shapes.
Does anyone know of someplace in Northeastern Illinois/Southeast Wisconsin area that I could take these to and have them identified for me? I'd also be willing to consider on-line places, but I know it's a difficult working from just a picture.
Thank you!
