  • acoustic-electric guitar sound issues?

I own a fairly inexpensive acoustic-electric guitar. It has always had a issue registering mid range sounds. The low end (E and A) and the high end (B and E) come through but the mid end (D and G) don't come through as clear. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be and how I may go about fixing it. Thanks.

  • Unable to change Yahoo password that is merged with ATT/SBC account?

This actually an answer not a question. For quite some time my Yahoo account was hacked and I was unable to change my password because my account was linked, or merged, with my ATT/SBC account. After many failed attempts with by Yahoo customer service and with ATT customer service I came across a link that gets you to the change password page. Your accounts will still be linked but at least you will be able to change the password if your account is ever hacked again. I hope this helps anyone who has been dealing with the same problems I have had.

  • Gasket cover replacement?

I own a 2000 Hyundai Elantra that needs the gasker cover replaced. Is this a simple job or am I better of going to a mechanic to do the work. I have done many simple repair jobs on my car but have not done anything that envolves the engine. I am about to replace the radiator but that seems to really simple. Is the Gasket cover also simple or do I run a risk of doing more damage by doing it myself. Thanks for the info in advance and God Bless.

  • Is it assault or battery?

I answered a question about a person striking another person. They never stated any words were spoken, just that they came upon a situation, got mad and hit some people. Many have responded by telling the person that they are "assaulting" them.

If I remember correctly, Assualt is the verbal attack on one person by another. Battery is the physical. Am I right in state that the individual could be charged with battery (not assault)?

  • How wrong am I?

The short and skinny of my situation is that I have a slight addition to pornography. I do not look at it often but every once in a while I will click on a website that I know about to see, lack of a better word, what is new. I have never tried to seek satisfation elsewhere but I do find myself pulled to this world. I have, not that it is a valid reason, been able to track the episodes to points where levels of stress are elevated and sexual relations have decreased between my wife and I. I have made major improvements in the amount that I use to watch but I have not been able to completely remove it from my life (either through spam or easy access to free sites).

Now that you know some of the history of my situation. I know that I have stumbled (and I do every 1-2 yrs) but does this make bad Husband and partner. There is nothing else that I do that one would view as unfaithful. Am I wrong and to what level would you consider it?

  • Am I the only one that thinks that Vista SUCKS!?!?!?

I purchased Vista for my computer about 9 months ago and have not liked it since. I got a steal on the 64 bit version and made all the necessary upgrades to accomodate it. I have had to upgrade everything except for the monitor. I cannot play many of the old games that XP was able to play. I really dislike like it and, at this point in time, will not be buying another PC in the future.

Does anyone else feel the same about Vista? Is Windows planning on adding any fixes to correct the problems?

  • How easy is it to use a credit card without your knowledge...?

My son, bless his heart (if you seen or heard the commercial, you will get the reference), was online at a games site. This site is a free service but has upgrade that can be purchased. My son took both my wife's and my credit card on 3 occasions and spent $50 over a period of 3 days. Luckly, we notice the first transaction before things started hit but after looking into how he did it, the site basicly shown the kids how to use the cards, step-by-step. We have had the charges canceled and the amounts refund and my son is also ground and his account permanently locked (from this site only). I think it is terrible, not only that my son tried to steal money but that the site gave such a specific walk through on using the cards. We were just lucky that $50 dollars is all he spent. Does anyone else have any stories similar to this one?

  • If there is no evidence. . .?

that proves or disproves something doesn't that make it inconclusive rather than false? Webster defines inconclusive as "leading to no conclusion or definite result" and false as "not true" or "intentionally untrue." Just as those that believe in God believe this and are not spreading what they believe as "intentionally untrue", the same could be said by the atheist/agnostics who say that as of right now there is nothing "leading to (a) conclusion or definite result" for them.

So what I am trying to say, in an attempt to make each side happy with their position, can't the people that believe in God say that what we believe is not false (atleast to us) and the atheist/agnostics say that right now (atleast for them) the information is inconclusive?

  • Who do you think are the best comedians today?

I have watched both of his comedy specials and I have to say that he as to be one of the best comedians ever. Who am I talking about? Jeff Dunham. With his staple characters - Walter, Peanut and Jose' Jalepeno (on a stick) - I think that he is by far one of the funniest individuals doing stand-up today.

Since this is a "ask" area, you are all probably wondering what the question is. If you could rank you top 3 comedians performing, who would you pick?

    I like:

    3) Lewis Black (don't get his finger going)

    2) Gabriel Iglesias (but it was funny though)

    1) Jeff Dunham (I don't give a d@mn)

  • Took car in for oil change. . .?

My car started run really rough about a month back and I found out that my wife didn't change the oil on the car and the dipstick was dry. I took the car in immediately and had the oil, for lack of a better word, changed. The car runs better but stick seems a little rough when idle. Is there anything I can put into the engine to help with any damage that the engine might have recieved during the time it was running dry? Thanks in advance.
