I can't get a loan on the mobile home because of the age of it. I need a loan to buy the land and existing structures on the land - a mobile home and pump house.

I am currently living in the mobile home on the land and need the loan to buy it from the seller - currently my landlord because I am paying rent until I can purchase it.

I have a laptop with an additional monitor hooked up because my screen is broken. The other day, Windows updated automatically and the computer was going to restart, at which time I went to bed. When I got up the next morning, the computer monitor was blank. I finally restarted the computer manually by holding down the start button. When I turned it back on, I started it in safe mode. I can restart in any safe mode, but not normally. If I try to restart normally, my monitor goes blank before Window's finishes. The monitor goes to sleep, but my broken laptop screen lights up. I've tried Fn + F5 and F6, and system restore the morning after the update (only optional time). Still can't restart normally or use my computer really. Can anyone offer some good advice?

I have a fairly old ice scream scooper that I have been using for years. Recently, it has turned a dark grey color, and if I try to use it, it leaves a grey color on the ice cream. Is there a way to clean it? Last night, I ran a sink of soapy water and drained it later. This morning, my scooper looks like it has rock salt all over it. Is this a type of mold, and can it be cleaned, or it it time to throw it away?

My g/f and I have almost no friends. We work together, & a few ppl know we're together, but we don't hang out with them outside of work. My g/f has had the same best friend for 10+ yrs, but she has turned into a total user. We don't drink, so we don't go out to bars. We're in AR, so there's really only 1 bar here & when we have been, it's all clicks that don't socalize with anyone else, or drunks. We are monogynous, been together 9 yrs, & not in2 the drama. We don't attend church because the only 1 is across the st. from my g/f's former employeer who used to laugh & joke that 'he & his teen son should just shoot all the "queers" going in/out every day.' Of course, he knows our boss & we don't want to be seen & outed at work, so this prevents us from going. Besides going 2 a bar, we don't know how 2 meet other couples like us. We don't want 3somes, drugs, drama, or trauma. Sadly, this is all we have found & just want to meet other couples like us for fun - movies, cards, ect. Now what?

I just bought a George Foreman grill and I want to use it to cook a couple of rib eye's. I like Dale's, but it is a little strong. I love A-1 on a cooked steak. Do you know a recipe for an hour long marinade that would be good without being as strong as Dale's?

My computer "crashed" but eventually my brother in law "fixed" it - mostly. I does work, and I can get online, but I'm sure I don't have the same video card as before - now I have a choice of 2 or 16 colors, and my color was fine before, even for games, etc.

My problem is that when I get online, I have trouble and I don't know if I need to download a different browser, or just replace the video card.

When I go to Yahoo homepage, I get a box that says something about not being able to view all areas or something. I'm on a different computer now.

Any suggestions? Do you think it's most likely just my video card needing updated, or the browser?

I used to watch "Girls Behaving Badly" reruns late at night, but I don't remember what channel. I don't get the Oxygen network, but I'm sure another network carries the show reruns also. Anyone know what station? I'm in the South, so not Channel 9 in New York. Thanks!

I applied for a job recently as an Office Runner for $18.90/hr, which sounded too good to be true and I should have known better. Today a woman called (Oregon phone #) and told me my resume had been 'pre-approved' and to go to the website www.hdcouriers.com to fill out the 'contractual agreement'. When I asked where the job opening was, she said it was in "my area", no city, that they were expanding all over the US. She told me the great perks about a co. car after a week and 401K, ins, etc. I asked what kind of co. they were and she again directed me to the site. I asked about the 'agreement', she said this was just my info, go to the site. Ok, does anyone know anything about this company, HDCouriers, or job offers with that email address? Is this just a big scam? Should I be worried that they have all my info from my resume? What kind of co. are they? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did anyone see the article on Yahoo news today (AFP) about this? In the article is says, and I quote:

I have some pictures of street signs that I'm cropping and incorporating into another picture project. Is there anywhere online that I could go and edit the pics and move them a few degrees so that they are straighter? Some are just slightly tilted and I'd like to rotate them a little at a time (much less then 90 degrees) until they are straight. Anyone know of an online photo editing/cropping area, or free software that lets you do this? I'd prefer to do it online.

I have a very small hard drive (5.35 GB) and I'd like to upgrade to a larger one. I have some computer knowledge, but a guy at Best Buy said I'd need a tech to install a new hard drive. How hard is it to put in a bigger hard drive? Also, how do I transfer all of my current files onto a new hard drive if I do buy one? I have over 1000 pics that I'd hate to lose, not to mention documents and other things. How would I get them onto a new hard drive? I also can't find my Windows disk, so would I have to buy a new one, or could I transfer everything from the old hard drive to the new one? I can physically install the new drive (taking the cover off, etc) but I'm not sure about the software end of it I guess. Any suggestions?
