  • Menopause - Any Advice ladies?

I am 52 and going through the menopause. Can anyone give me some tips on anything they have used to help with hot flushes and night sweats. I have tried the ladycare magnet and it has helped slightly but i,m still suffering with these awful flushes. I had been on HRT for five years but due to the increased risk of the big C the doctor has asked me to come off, which I did 2 months ago.

I would appreciate any tips or advice which could help me.

    Thanks ladies.

  • How can I work out if I have overpaid tax?

Hi, can anyone help work out exactly how to check if we have overpaid income tax. My way of thinking is take your gross pay from your P60, deduct your allowances, deduct your national insurance and then what is left, 20% of this should be what you have paid in tax.

If this is not correct and anyone can tell me the exact way to calculate this I would be gratefull.

    Many thanks

  • How do you introduce a new cat?

I have a 9 year old female cat who has been the lady of the house for many years. My son died last year and he had a 4 year old male cat who his girlfriend has been looking after. She is having to go into hospital long term and I am taking the cat when she goes.

What is the best way to go about introducing the cats to minimise disruption and fighting and any of them getting hurt?? My female cat is a typical bossy female and the male cat is very timid. I,m worried about both cats. Any advice would be most appreciated.

  • Have you all forgotten the 80`s & early 90`s?

The heartache, misery, strikes, unemployment, high interest rates (15%). No help for people to come off income support, incapacity benefit to get back to work. All you youngsters think you have it hard haha. People who were bringing up kids at that time will know what i,m talking about. And you moan about Labour. Who all remembers when it was really hard?

  • Is this site is censored????

why is it that when you answer a question sometimes you get a message saying that the site is taking a breather and your answer disappears. I can understand if there was foul language etc. used, but I was trying to answer a political question. I take it that the people who censor the site do not allow answers if it is not in line with their views on politics.

  • How can I boost my partners sex drive?

My partner has had 2 heart attacks and is on medication which affects his sex drive. I have asked him to go to the doc`s but you know what blokes are like when it comes to these things. (He won`t go says it is too embarrasing). I still have a high sex drive and it is driving me crazy. We are both in our 40`s and I feel we are too young to be just holding hands. Anybody any ideas, no suggestions about the sexy undies and toys as they do not work.
