I did everything right: made sure there was no water/grease/yolk in the egg whites or bowl, added the right amount of cream of tartar and salt, and used an electric mixer on the right setting (I started on a low setting and went high when the egg whites became foamy). Nothing worked and I wasted over a half hour trying to beat the egg whites, but they never did anything but stay foamy. Why?

Whenever I eat chocolate candy or chocolate milk, my throat starts to burn and it makes it very hard to breathe. I think it may even swell but I can't tell for sure. However, if I drink water after getting this reaction then my symptoms go away and I can breathe normally again.

Strangely, I do NOT get a reaction if I eat chocolate ice cream or cake (however chocolate frosting does bother me). This has been happening since April, and it's totally new for me. It has also gotten worse since then. At first I only experienced trouble breathing when I ate a Reese's cup, then regualr chocolate bars, and now nearly anything that contains chocolate bothers me (except for ice cream and cake)

Is it possible I developed a chocolate allergy?  How would I know for sure?

I live in Southeastern Pennsylvania (USA) and spotted lanternflies are a huge problem here. They swarm plants and are attacking my fig tree. I've read that they can cause serious damage to agriculture and that if you see one you should kill it. The problem is that they are all over the tree's branches and I don't know how to kill the lanternflies without harming my fig tree. Any thoughts on what I should do?

I keep a couple files on a USB dirve and edit them usually once a day. I was wondering if the files would eventually encounter problems (e.g. be deleted or not run properly) after a certain amount of time.

I live in Pennsylvania, USA and will take my test soon. I am aware that not being able to parallel park will garuntee a faiing grade. Is there anyhting else that can cause you to automatically fail or come close to it?

Ever since November, I have dealt with chronic muscle pain/tenderness and extreme fatigue. It gradually got worse until I saw a doctor, the doctor said I have Amplified Pain Syndrome and that treatment will help fix it within a couple months. Treatment consists of intense aerobic exercise and physical therapy. It has been 2 months and I feel no better, if not worse. My pain and fatigue have only gotten worse with the intense pain, but my doctor says it is the intense exercise is the only way I will fell better.

I think my doctor is wrong, and I am going in for a follow up next week to check on my progress. I am going to tell her everything that has happened and how I am feeling.

Is there any condition I can bring up to her? Rhumetoid Arthritis runs in my family, but my doctor dismissed that as a cause. My sister thinks I may have fibromyalgia. Any thoughts?

Under the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890, monopolies are banned under US law to create economic competition, among other reasons. I don't understand how there are so many monopolies today? We have Disney, Google (Alphabet Inc), Pepsico, Proctor & Gamble, Bayer (Monsanto), Tyson, Conagra, etc completely dominating various industries in the United Staes. Are these companies funding poltics in the United States? Or dies the government simply not care?

So I have this project in school where we have to create an idea for a website. My wesbite is something like yahoo answers, but every answer donates 1/2 a cent to feeding the world. I want to know if I would need licensing for this?

Over the past year he has lifted bans on ivory imports and now has significantly weakened protections for endangered animals. My question is simply this: WTF? These animals are already dying at alarming rates and if their populations continue to decrease and/or go extinct it will have detrimental affects on the world. I am taking care of my neighbor's cat and for some reason he just doesn't want to eat. I've tried leaving him his own space, giving him attention, giving him little bits at a time, etc. But nothing's working. His brother will eat, but he won't. I feel as if I've tried everything. What do I do? I am not that familiar with cats and I am worried about him.

I just found out my dad has shingles. I used the same towel he used yesterday and am worried that I may get shingles from him. I have the chickenpox vaccine and have never had chickenpox. He had a rash yesterday that was red. Today it turned puffy with blisters. I never used the towel when his skin had blisters, but used it yesterday when the rash was just red. Please help!

I ve been pretty sick with cold/flu symptoms yesterday and today, and I am taking ibuprofen right now for a knee problem. I was wondering if I can take Theraflu along with the Ibuprofen? I took the Ibuprofen 2 hours ago and was wondering if it can take Theraflu now?
