I have a 46 gallon tank and I am presently using an aquaclear 70 filter. I started to have problems with it stopping for no reason. Since I am planning a trip soon I thought I should get a new one. Should I stay with the aquaclear or try something else?

I live in new jersey and we just experienced a very hot heat wave. I have a sprinkler system which is set to go on every other night for about 30 minutes. Help!

Do we still have to pay tax? We live in New Jersey.

I have 3 female dachshunds who always got along. I had to recently take in my mother's female pomeranian because she moved in with my sister and she couldn't take her. My youngest dog has been fighting with the pomeranian and now she is fighting with my other dogs. I don't know how to handle this. I really would like to keep them all if I could get them to stop fighting.

The last I heard he had his second surgery and they still had quite a few to remove.

I received a Canon EOS Rebel T1i SLR camera for Christmas and I am having trouble zooming in on pictures. When I zoom in as far as I can and take the picture; what I see in the viewfinder at the time I snap the picture isn't how the picture finally turns out. It is well focused but not close enough. Please help.

Are they mating?

It is a really friendly cat. I think it is a female. She purrs and rubs against my legs and lets me pick her up. I don't feed her and I won't let her in my house since I have 3 dogs. I feel bad for her since it is really getting cold out. She looks healthy enough. Is it ok to just let her stay here?

I have a 46 gal tank. I have 2 lg featherfin cats, 4 corys, 2 peacocks, 1 ice blue, 4 electric adult yellows, 5 electric baby yellows (3 mos old), 1 pleco, 2 jewels, 2 ornatus and 2 clown loaches. I feed them a combination of veg flakes and veg cichlid pellets with an automatic feeder twice a day and an occasional treat of frozen brine shrimp. Is my tank overstocked? Am I feeding them too much or too little? I keep the tank clean. In fact I get a lot of compliments on how clear the water is. I changed the water and carbon filters every two weeks. My fish seem healthy and I haven't lost a fish in quite a while. I gave my sister some of my baby electric blues about a month ago and they doubled in size. Mine are still the same. She has a 30 gal tall octagon with 2 blues, 1 peacock, 2 bumble bees, 2 jewels ( which just had babies), 2 lg plecos, and 1 ornatus. I bought my jewels and ornatus at the same time as my sister when she bought all her cichlids. Hers are huge and mine are still the same. What am I doing wrong?

I need to move my 4 roseline sharks to another tank. They are incredibly fast and I finally gave up because the biggest of the four seemed exhausted and I was worried he would get too stressed out and die. I removed a lot of the bigger decos and that didn't help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just got the cutest brindle dachshund puppy that has a bent tail at the tip. It is not just bent there is a knot. Could this be a genetic defect? I was thinking of breeding her. The other puppies had similar knots in their tails as well. I know I shouldn't have bought her but I just couldn't pass her up.

I follow the directions on the box and it always comes out too mushy. Should I cook it longer or less?

I just noticed that my females molly has one eye that is very swollen. She is very pregnant. Could it be an injury as I put her in a breeding net for a couple of days and when she didn't have her babies I took her out. Maybe she hurt it then. If not and it is a disease is there a cure or is she doomed? I really hope she doesn't die before she has a chance to have her babies.
