How did corporate america successfully adopt the slave owners ploy and create a nation of house N-words?
All I see are people apalled that we should tax them at the rate's they were taxed under Clinton. It like a house n-word going "wassa matta massa, us sick" "we sho don't need no gubment taxin our massa"
4 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoTaking back the country?
How do the loud minority feel about their chances after looking at yesterdays election results. In all 4 states the Dem turnout trounced the Rep turnout. They may be making the most noise these Teabaggers, but like James Brown said "You just talking loud, ain't sayin nothin' "
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAnother anti-gay republican outed as gay! Why do republicans repeatedly vote against themselves?
I used to wonder why it is that poor and middle class people would vote republican against their best interest but with the steady flow of republican legislators that vote against gay rights that are later found to be gay leaves me to draw the conclusion that there are some deep seated self esteem issues at work. Can some one help me understand this self abusive behavior?
12 AnswersElections1 decade agoNothing like a bunch of out of touch millionaires deciding whats good for the common man, eh?
These smug bastards get government paid healthcare and $140k to do absolutely nothing for working poor or middle class America. I bet they can't even relate to someone working 2 jobs for $8/hr with no benefits trying to make it. They think someone like this can just pull a $2000 deductible from under the mattress. Such arrogance from the party of "I got mine, screw you".
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy when you call them out for comparing Obama to Hitler...?
They are so quick to say "Well the did it to Bush"?
Let's see Bush invaded a country unprovoked and took away personal freedoms (patriot act, wiretappings) like Hitler.
Obama, well "he, he, he,,,,, he's a good speaker and he wants the kids to Excel like Hitler"
It would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.
8 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoCan you just be honest and admit it?
Never in my lifetime has a president been so summarily hated. Even Bush was given an amount of goodwill following 9/11. They want to claim it's his policies however I've seen all kind of unprecedented snipes at this president. Including that his being proclaimed a failure on Jan 21st. Total opposition to any and everything. To hear the opposition tell it he even folds his napkin wrong.
So can you be honest had just admit your total hatred for the man?
It may make you feel better to get it off your chest.
No lies that he's going to kill granny or disabled kids, Just say that I can not stand him just because I don't. No logical reason, just never have, do not and never will.
There, now exhale.
21 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWouldn't a little real journalism be nice?
Once upon a time in America we had to wait for the 6 o'clock or 10 o'clock newscast. During that time you were given a well informed look at the events of the day and maybe some insightful thoroughly investigated and researched commentary. Now it's just 24 hours of what ever shill they can drag on the air to spout whatever and not even have sense enough to refute or verify anything said as factual.
Truly pathetic.
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoRead the bill? is that all they have?
This seems to be the right wing talking point of the month. Everyone is in here and on cable news saying no one has read the bill. Do they think if they repeat that enough it will stick?
Also, they point to sites where they have takin the liberty to interpret what they think it might mean for you. It's like someone twisting a Bible verse for their own agenda. It's pretty shallow but there will always be a percentage who will fall for it.
how very sad.
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIsn't it hysterical watching the GOP?
They come out every hour on the hour spouting nonsense and expect the american public to buy into their rubbish. 24/7 they are on the news shows looking dead in the camera and telling boldfaced lies. The more they talk the lower their ratings and the higher the presidents. Yet they are too dumb to figure out that it is not working. I can only hope that another party emerges from the ashes. We need at least a 2 party if not 3 or 4 party system. However they must be parties with legitimate platforms and ideas
15 AnswersElections1 decade agoAshe, Aaron, Jorden, Tiger, Obama.......?
Why is it when a black man is not excluded he rises to dominate his field?
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy do the uneducated say you can't spend your way out of a debt?
True if you are buying things that won't make you any money you will go belly up. But if you are buying things that will give you a return on your money you will eventually pay off your debts and become profitable. The president wants to run up debt on things that are going to create cash flow but the naysayers just don't get it.
12 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDid the republican reps sound like Ralph Krandem today?
YOU KNOW THAT I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT I GOT A PLAN ALICE! I just don't know what it is yet.
6 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy are the Gop folks so one dimensional?
gulliani: "9-11 blah blah blah, 911 blah blah 9-11"
McCain: Surge drill POW blah blah blah, surge blah drill blah blah POW.
13 AnswersElections1 decade agoRepubs using any excuse to distance themselves from McCain?
It's a shame to use a natural disaster for political reasons but it seems Bush and Cheney used Gustav to avoid the convention. The governator claims California is to broke for him to go but I'm sure he has enough money to pay himself.
Why are they dodging the convention?
And don't try to act like it's all out of concern for the hurricane victims. It's only a way to keep Bush/Cheney from being linked to McCain. They were going to give what, a 20 minute speech? Can't do that and go back to Washingtion and sit on their hands again?
11 AnswersElections1 decade agoDo people think they are voting for American Idol?
It's for the president of the USA. How can you be mad because your candidate didn't make it and and then go and vote for the candidate most likely to want to see you barefoot and in the kitchen.
Just because you're mad. Oh you are mad!
4 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes it seem that Rev Pfleiger was right?
Hillary still is acting like she's entitled and refuses to get off the stage.
17 AnswersElections1 decade agoAre you prepared to watch this saga thru the convention?
Clinton will Not quit. She is like the kid on the playground. You know the one, "I'll race ya"
You win, "best 2 of 3"
You win "best of 7"
You win "I'll flip you for it"
You win "rock paper scissors"
You win...................
7 AnswersElections1 decade agoDid Hillary get that bobbing head thing from Hulk Hogan?
I can see him there standing up on the ropes, mic in hand, head bobbin up and down trying to look macho.
Amen brother! I'm gonna blah blah blah blah blah.........
4 AnswersElections1 decade agoAre all remaining Hillary supports on Y answers?

As Paul Harvey would say, "The rest of the story"
I know that those that were looking to discredit Obama will not even read it. However only the informed can make an informed decision about anything. Everyone else is just comfortable in their own preconcieved notions and will never grow as a person anyway.
