  • Is it allowed to have a group page on Facebook that has the same name as a business or performance?

A page I admin is getting threats from some chick who has a basically unknown traveling performance becasue our group page coincidentally has the same name as her show. I was under the impression that copyright infringement only applies when the other entity is selling/receiving funds for something that can be misperceived as the first one's work. It has been three weeks since she has claimed to have reported us, but we haven't heard anything, and she has claimed to have "had to shut people down before". Does she have a legit case, or she just bluffing/bullying us into compliance?

  • Problems with Microsoft Excel column width?

The units/pixels for the column width in Excel don't match the instructions I was given, which apparently isn't unusual, and after I saved and closed the document, Excel automatically adjusted it to a different width. Why would this happen and how can I fix it?

I've found plenty of Chanukkah recipes (obviously) from many different countries, but hardly any from Russia.

  • Are there any good fat burners that don't have st. john's wort?

I want to get something that uses all natural stuff like Lipitrex or Ripped Fuel, but without st. John's wort because it's suspected to interfere with birth control pills.

  • Why is my new front load dryer (frigidaire) not working?

It had been working fine earlier today but after I put a new load in and selected the setting wanted all it did was beep at me. Yes, the door is close and it's getting power. I'm not sure if it's heating but it's tumbling or making any noise so I'm assuming the motor is not working. If that's the case is there any reason why a 1 month old dryer would do this?

  • question about torrid?

I was wondering if the store Torrid just sells plus-sized clothes. I'm not plus-sized but I have a problem finding pants that fit right because I'm short (5'3'') and I have wide hips. I've tried the jeans at Express for "curvy" girls but they were a little short and a bit baggy in the thighs, which just ends up making me look bigger.

  • Losing weight...I can help???

This rather an offer than a question: I've noticed that a lot of people in general are having issues with losing weight/getting fit/etc. and the main problem is that they don't seem to know much about the mechanics and biology of losing weight. I am a physical fitness instructor for the military and I would love to help anyone out/answer questions if you have them. I will say off hand that I do not in any way advocate anorexia/bulemia/fad diets/diet pills because they (for a fact) do not work and will wreak havoc on you r body. Feel free to e-mail me at any time.

  • Rude Atheists?

I don't have an issue with Atheists, or any other religious group really, but I've noticed that on R&S there are a lot of Atheists that are just as rude and proselytize just as much as certain other groups do. My question is why is it that I've encountered so many Atheist like that on here, but have never met one in real life that behaves that way? Odd don't you think.

  • Why do people on here give others a thumbs down for an answers that are facts?

For ex.: One person asks "what religion are you?" and the other puts "Muslim" and then that person gets a whole bunch of thumbs down. Is that statement somehow not a fact? I assume it's probably a bunch of irate zealotes getting p.o.'ed because that person doesn't believe what they do. If you do, why? It's very disrespectful, childish and gets in the way of people who legitimately want to learn something (Not to be converted!!!!Just to learn.)

  • What's this group/guy called?

There's this guy that had a "song" come out on the radio a few years ago, but he wasn't actually singing. He was ranting about politics and social issues, like people saying that being fat is a disease. It was more comedic than anything.

  • Corrections in the Christian Bible?

When somone proves that there has been a mistranslation in the Christian Bible does anyone correct the new copies being printed? If not, then why. For example, it is commonly now known that the Hebrew script of the Bible says that Moses parted the Reed Sea (Yam Suph or sea of reeds), and that the claim that it was the Red Sea was introduced by the KJV. Do the most current copies of the Bible, other than the KJV, have the proper corrections?

  • Evangelical Christians?

I want to know the primary differences in beliefs that set evangelical christians apart other protestant groups. So far I haven't found any differences although I have to admit that I find the behavior of some of them to be a little strange if not outright frightening.

  • Going Vegetarian?

I recently decided to give vegetarianism a try, but I would like to know if anyone can give me an accurate run down of what I would need (i.e. vitamins, minerals, protein, etc.) every day, particulalry for the things that I would normally be getting from meat. If there are any sites that have meal plans that anyone knows of, that would be great too.
