  • I can't remove myself from a Yahoo group?

Somehow my email address ended up in 2 groups that I am not interested in being. I tried to remove myself from the group based on the instructions from Yahoo, but there is no "membership" option in these 2 groups to enable me to leave. Help!

How far would the commute be from New Haven, CT to Manhattan? And are there people who do that on a regular basis?

  • Pharmacy Technician?

I'm interested in becoming a pharmacy technician and from what I've heard, I don't need to go to school. However, I've applied to the pharmacies in the area, and have gotten no where. There is an inexpensive school in the area that will prepare me for the board and state certification. Is it worth it? I just seems all doors are closed for me at the moment.

  • I was hit by an uninsured driver?

I do have full coverage, so my car is being repaired and my insurance company is going after the guy who hit me. However, I do live in a state that it is law to carry car insurance. I did file an accident report, but I don't think the police know he lied to me about his insurance coverage. Should I let the police know? Do I need to hire a lawyer? Besides what I've already done, is there anything else I should do?

  • Childcare costs?

I'm going back to work for the first time since my children were born and I'm shopping for daycare. I've never had to pay for childcare, so I'm just wondering what the average daycare center charges for a 4 year old.

  • Advice for a SAHM looking to jump back into a career?

I'm a stay at home mom, who is ready to get back into a career. Except, I'm not having success in the job search. Am I unemployable because I have a 5 year gap in my resume? I have a bachelor's degree with 10 years of solid experience. Doesn't that count for anything? Any advice would be great!

  • Why won't my house sell?

We have owned our home for 6 years and have put in over $150K into the house in improvements. There is a brand new 2nd story addition, new windows, new siding, new roof, new deck, new driveway, and a new kitchen. We have done all the things realtors tell you to do in order to sell and nothing has worked. Not even baking bread before potential buyers come over. We live in the suburbs of Chicago, in a good neighborhood, very close to a good grade school and on a very quiet street.

We have also lowered our price to a basically "break even" point. So its not like were trying to make a bunch of money.

So why won't this house sell?
