  • How does usb port charging work?

I'm just curious, I don't need a heavily technical explanation.

I know that you can charge a number of things from the usb port of a computer.

  • If I get a new wedding ring, what do I do?

my wedding ring is damaged and it costs too much to repair, we are thinking about getting it replaced instead, but what do you do about wearing it? Do you renew your vows or can you just have it blessed? or can you just wear it (somehow this option doesn't seem right and doesn't appeal to me)?

  • ginger - cilantro - rice soup. Has anyone heard of this or have the recipe?

Someone just told me about this soup with giner, cilantro, turkey and chinese rice. It's simmered for a long time so the rice breaks down and make the soup creamy and thick.

    Any help would be appreciated

  • Low Sugar Peanut Butter Cookie Recipes?

My husband had gastric bypass surgery (has lost over 200 lbs)and can't have a lot of sugar, but loves peanut butter cookies. Does anyone a recipe for peanut butter cookies, that keeps the sugar grams below 15 per serving?

Any help would be appreciated (like if I could just replace Splenda in any recipe and things like that).

I want to make these for Thanksgiving so he can have a special treat, as he hasn't enjoyed desserts with the family since having the surgery.

    Thanks so much!1

  • Pie Crust - Volume recipes?

I am making about 36 apple pies, I'm looking for tips for making this volume of dough. I don't want to have to repeat 36 times, so what is the cutoff for multiplying.

I don't have a kitchenaid or high powered mixer, I only have a hand mixer and my hands for doing the mixing.

My biggest bowl is a Tupperware Thatsa bowl about 12 quarts.

  • Who else loves Spelt?

I had this for the first time last week and I just had it as leftovers for lunch. I got a little package from Trader Joe's and it comes with seasonings and dried veg. I prepared it with chicken broth. This stuf is awesome and since its a whole grain it keeps you full longer!!

  • Greek Soup??

I used to go to a Greek pizza restaurant (Samo's) in Milford, CT (about 20 yrs) ago that had a soup called Greek Soup and I am craving, but don't remember how to make it. This is what I remember. It had rice, it was creamy, but not like potoato soup, it was more like the consistency of egg drop soup in a way, it was either a turkey or chicken base and maybe had small bits of onion and/or carrot. Does anyone have a recipe like this? I went to foodnetwork.com, but nothing there grabbed my attention. Hope somebody can get me fired up to use up turkey that we had last night!!

  • What does this make you think of??

    supercalifragilistic

    expialidocious

I had to separate it to two lines, so it would all print.

I used to be able to spell this the whole way through without stopping, but can't anymore.

  • Ipod problem?

I have a 60gb ipod and it has a sad ipod with exclamation point and then give me the www.apple.com/support/ipod web address. I have tried getting into disk mode like the website says, but it wont work. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, what ended up being the cause? I think it may be the battery, but before I send it in, I wanted to have an idea.

    Thanks!
