My work is closing down in 1 months time

we were initial told last year that it will close in 2014 and 3 months notice will be given or close the store and pay us for the 3 months plus redundancy

we have been told today that is is closing next month (1 month notice)

we were also told that any holidays we are allowed will be reduced plus any holidays taken between april and closing date will be taken out of our wages if it exceeds the limit they gave us today (I have taken 1 week, and have 3 more weeks booked before the closing date, i cant ask for holidays to be taken off my rota because i have booked a 2 week holiday in advance

My sister and I who work at the store have been left with 1 month to find a new job and money taken out of our wages for holidays we have taken and booked in advance before being notified of closure

Does this sound fair? do I have any legals rights to question this?

I am studying a degree in Food design and nutrition, as part of the course we can opt to do a 12 month placement before final year, however it has been impossible to find one due to location and opportunities. Does anyone know the best option to take ? If i cannot get a placment i will sit final year

I was hoping to get into a graduate programe in England after graduation but without a placement under my belt, would this be an impossible goal ?

My partner and I are considering going abroad to get married due to our all year round bad weather. it would be nice to get married in a nice warm dry climate :) e.g. greece, spain, italy

I was just wondering, alot of places say you must get married in the local town hall before getting married in the garden or beach of your chosen place. Some even say you must have a civil ceremony in your home town before having a wedding in certain locations (which defeats the purpose)

my question is do you always have to get married in the local town hall before getting married in your location of choice? or is it possible to book a location, get married in the grounds e.g. beach view etc and for it still to be a legal marraige ?

I am doing a degree in Food technology in Northern Ireland and this year we need to find a 1 year placement to gain experience in the food and drink industry

I have worked in the supermarket for 7 years and worked in a butchers for 2 years and I would like to experience something different as many of the placements will be meat, chicken etc

does anyone have any suggestions of something different were I can gain new experience in this field ?

Hi, Its been 10 years since iv been on a "beach holiday" :(

I remember it being very hot all the time but cant remember how cool it gets at night

I have a lot of clothes i plan to bring and maybe a couple of light cardigans for evening

Do you think i should pack a coat? I only have 3 long coats and that are really only used for cold winters

was thinking of getting a short denim jacket...but maybe the cardigans would be enough?

I missed 2 pills in a row with 4 pills left in the pack, the information leaflet said if you miss 2 towards the end of the back continue to the next pack without taking the pill free break

I had intercourse 4 times on and around the days i missed the pills, I had spotting one morning and brown discharge 6 days after

it wil be 2 weeks since missing the pills and having intercourse in 2 days time, should I test then or wait longer to test?

I really don't know when to test because I have no period to miss

4 days after sex I had light spotting for 2 days (morning time only)

6 days after sex I had brown discharge

10 days after im getting feeling like period pain but not strong enough, sharp on-off tingling in breasts

does this sound likey?

Iv been advised to start my next strip of pills after missing 2 pills last week, iv been with my Bf all week if you get what I mean, iv had spotting and brown discharge, when do I take s test if I'm on the pill still?

I missed 2 pills in a row last week, I had sex on both days of the missed pills, 3 days later I had spotting and today 9 days after I experienced a brown discharge :/

Cut a long story short, I missed 2 pills in a row,wed and thurs had sex on wed thurs sat and Sunday. Started spotting dark red nearly black blood on Monday. My packet advice says to start the next strip and not take a break if I miss more than one, could I already be pregnant? How will I know if I keep taking the pill?

I was down with the cold so he insisted I stay (my pill left at uni)

I ended up missing 2 pills in a row...day 14 and day 15 of the pack

we had sex 3 times in those 2 days

I have been taking the pill for over a year now and have not had any problems...until this weekend (I have been taking the pill correctly, no missed pills)

on friday night i noticed a faint spot of "pink" on toilet roll after using the bathroom (didn't think much of it)

on sat night (last night) I noticed it again only it was a small amount of fresh red blood

this morning iv had a orange/brown discharge

could I be pregnant?

also theres not blood every time i go to the toilet, just the 3 times I have mentioned above

my pill free break starts on thursday and my break through bleeding (period) will start 1 week from now

im confused

Im going to a wedding in another country in 2 weeks and cant get a professional spray tan due to 2 public holidays the day before I go. So im going to do it myself. with the colours im wearing I really need a tan haha

so what one should I buy (i Have a mit at home) judging on colour, smell and long lasting results.......
