I have heard this quote used about Star Wars:A New Hope, attributed to George Lucas, but can't track it down. I can find lots of blogs and sites where people refer to it, but can't find a source for it. Can anyone help track it down, please?

I am asking because I often see people complaining about fundamentalists, both theist and atheist, and want to hear from the other side.

It annoys me, as so many people repeat it as if it were true, yet in my experience of working in shops, it is far more likely to be the opposite.

This is purely a matter of curiousity. Obviously, spoken languages developed before written; so why, when alphabets were designed, did non-phonetic ones choose different combinations of letters to represent the same sounds? Do I mean 'how'?

I got 'Babylon' by Skindred and 'the Open Door' by Evanescence recently, both of which I think are fantastic-anything anyone would like to recommend?

I have seen this question quite a few times since I have been on here, and am intrigued. If you have any ideas/opinions on this, please feel free to say. Thanks
