I am looking for a recipe for butterscotch ice cream, without eggs. Many years ago I had one from Prima magazine (in the UK) which was, if memory serves, nothing more than unsalted butter, brown sugar and evaporated milk. But can I find it? Of course I can't.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I like making my own ice cream in summer. Years ago I had a very simple recipe for butterscotch ice cream - ISTR it consisted of nothing more than unsalted butter, brown sugar and evaporated milk. If anyone has this recipe (I want proportions please), or a nice recipe for butterscotch ice cream .... or any ice cream really ... let me have 'em please!

You put these into open bottles of wine when you can't squeeze the cork back in - base is sometimes cork, sometimes metal, sometimes wood. Top can be plain or fancy.

I have an MP3 of their song "Touch the Earth", which sounds like Red Box with Bono on vocals. I know nothing about the band. Can anyone tell me more - nationality, discography, anything?

I tried using a software programme to convert my graphic to a pattern chart, and then worked it using the illusion technique, but it came out tall and skinny. Anyone got any tips on how to design a chart that'll come out the right size please?

What environmental initiatives have your various workplaces put into effect? How effective were they? Did they go down well with staff, or were they met with complaints and unwillingness? For my sins I've been asked to co-ordinate (for that read take minutes) an environmental group at work. First task - find a site showing energy use stats in the UK; eg x% used in travel; y% in heating, etc. Can anyone help? Nothing terribly technical please; the group are drawn from a wide range of disciplines, not all with a scientific background. They're more representatives of their individual areas of work than anything. Nice, visual stuff (lots of pie charts/bar graphs) would be good. Thank you very much!

Scenario: can you play films to an audience in, say, a church hall if you don't ask for an entry fee but do have a plate for donations on the way out? How is this covered under copyright?

I had a nice recipe for the above - black coffee, cream, marshmallows, maybe sugar. It came from a book called "Cooking for the Zodiac" or something like that. Book was water-damaged in a flood and got slung, and now I want the recipe:-( Can anyone help? It DOESN'T contain nuts or sponge fingers - it's just a mousse.

If it's any help the book had a purple cover ... you never know, someone may have it in their collection!
