For weeks now, a few of my fish have been acting strange; swimming is out of sorts, all over, on their sides, etc. No physical signs of any illnesses or disease except one has redder gills, nothing else. I thoroughly cleaned my aquarium thinking it was poor water as there was a lot of algae (my plecostomus doesn't do his job) soaking everything in diluted bleach water, including the gravel and cleaned and rinsing everything off thoroughly. I used filtered water to refill the aquarium as well then used start right as well. The fish still swam funny for the next few weeks and are now laying at the bottom of the aquarium and another fish has joined them. Not all of the fish are acting this way, just a few. I tested the water this morning and there is 0 nitrate, .5 nitrite, 0 for hardness (shown very soft water),but 300 alkalinity and 8.4 for ph. Would that be causing the fish to act sick? I've read to use driftwood to gradually fix the these levels but I want to see if anyone knows if this could be causing the sick acting fish. They've been acting like this for weeks so it's not something that's come on quickly. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I live in Wisconsin and am wondering, on average, what would it cost to rent a riding lawn mower and also a vacuum cleaner....not the actual service BUT the equipment as we'd do it ourselves? Looking for an approximate per hour amount. Thanks.

When I use my Samsung Galaxy SIII to create videos and I go to either upload them to facebook or email them, they ALWAYS turn out upside down. How can I fix this on my phone so they upload correctly?

A group of us ordered lunch from a chinese restaurant today and no kidding, there was something in mine that resembles snot; like someone sneezed into my food. Where can I have this tested....? It of course made me sick to my stomach and I want to find out if it is that and if so, talk to an attorney....it's so gross!!!

I know someone personally who is on SSI for a physical disability either for a knee injury or back injury BUT is still able to drag tree limbs up & down a hill for burning, climbing ladders to paint, and now use a push lawn mower to go up and down this same hill to mow about 3/4 acre of land. Is this persons "ability" to do these things possibly grounds for SSI fraud? This person has been caught before for committing fraud our local county out of thousands of dollars for fraudulently filling out paper work to get paid more than what they should have for a state-licensed daycare she owned, and now this. I'm tired of this person lying to get free handouts from the county & state as she also gets food stamps etc "because she can't work. The funny thing is, after this supposed surgery that left "corrected" back issues, she did go back to work and was fired for lying on her application which they found out while she was off work for this surgery, THEN she was mysteriously unable to work anymore. I can easily video tape her doing these things as it's near my home. WOuld that be proof enough too? Help me if you know these answers. Thank you.

I currently have AT&T DSL for my internet service. We're looking into purchasing a laptop soon and with that, maybe getting a wireless router so that we can have internet on both computers and portable wifi with the laptop. My question is, will any wireless router work for this purpose or do I HAVE to purchase theirs, which is over $100 and we're trying to do this as cheap as possible. Thank you.

I live in Wisconsin and have a work related injury which happened on 5/11/10. So far the wc insurance company has paid for the physical therapy, doctors appointments, lost time from work for these appointments, mileage, etc. Since the doctor is now discussing surgery, they want me to go to their IME, which I see next Monday (10/4). If they deny my claim, when I have surgery which is now scheduled for 11/5/10, if I use some of my vacation/personal time to compensate for a portion of my lost wages while off work, can I still go for lost wages when I hire an attorney to fight this and we have a hearing?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We were verbally declined for a mortgage refinance and I've asked this bank 4 times now for a decline letter and have yet to receive one and it's been a couple of months. Is there somewhere that I should report them? I believe this is against the guidelines of either the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the Federal Trade Commission??

Every bank is telling me that because my husband is a truck driver and gets a % of a daily meal allowance for each day he's gone over night, they need to subtract the amount he claims yearly from his annual income. This is a deduction NOT actual unreimbursed employee expenses. Even though our form 2106 with our taxes breaks down what is actually out of our pocket & what is the meal allowance deduction, we're told this is how it's ALWAYS been done. Because of this our debt to income looks horrible so we're unable to refinance our mortgage to combine our 1st & 2nd and lower our payments so our budget isn't so tight. I don't think this should be allowed as to us, it's no different than if they subtracted our child care expense deduction or mortgage interest deduction from our annual income!!! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. This practice needs to stop!! I could understand if he was an owner-operator but he's not so he pays for basically nothing out of his pocket for his work or work-related items.

A year ago we checked into refinancing our 2nd mortgage and had to go through a new appraisal. Our home was appraised at $225k 6 years prior, but this appraiser is telling us that it has dropped down to $185k which is an 18% decrease in value. From all the websites I've looked at, in WI property has, on average, dropped in value by about 1 or 1.5%; not 18%. Could this appraiser be way off? There are no foreclosures in our neighborhood or area to bring values down that much either. I'm worried now as we're going to try this year to combine both of our mortgages and need it to appraise at $190k at least to do it. Our property taxe assesement is at $204k w/ the fair market value listed at $235k; which to me is way off, but you can't tell the assessors that. Do you think the first appraiser could have been way off? We have done some improvements since first appraisal at $225k 6 yrs ago, but nothing has gotten bad to justify the $40k drop??

I am looking at switching companies for my land phone & internet service as I'm tired of AT&T constantly raising our pricing. I've looked into various companies and it seems the possible cheapest would be TDS Telecom. I'm looking for anyone from Wisconsin who may have this service and what you think of it. Thank you.

There is no blood in her urine, and it isn't unusual for her to have occasional accidents in her kennel & our house, but it's getting to be very frequent this is happening now. We've tried removing her water by 7pm but doesn't seem to be helping. She doesn't seem ill nor does she feel warm like she's running a temp. What do you think could be going on?? Really can't afford a huge vet bill & as soon as you take them in, this is usually what happens regardless. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have a couple older pc games that required Windows 95 or newer and have upgraded our system a year ago to Windows Vista. I cannot get these installed into the new system as i'm being told that the version I have is newer than than what is needed and it will not install. Is there any way to install older games on newer systems?

My male ferret was fine yesterday but this morning I noticed he has diarrhea, is lethargic and wouldn't even eat his treats. We recently received notice from the DNR that our well tested positive for a type of bacteria, so we chlorinated this past Sunday. Could this be the problem? We've had problems w/ the well before and he's never had a problem. I gave him bottled water on Sunday so he hasn't had the well water since at least Sunday morning. Could something else be going on? It is not green like the one disease states that ferrets can get, and he's not been in contact with any other ferrets either. He is only 4 or 5 yrs old and acted perfectly fine yesterday.

We just got our appraisal back as we were looking at refinancing our 2nd mortgage to pay off some credit card debt. Well, to put it mildly, our appraisal came back $48k less than what they have it assessed at for our property taxes for 2008. I live in Wisconsin, if that information is needed. We paid our taxes in full in December 2008. Can we get a refund for the over-payment?

I would like to know if someone has my email through Microsoft Outlook set up so that they can read my incoming and outgoing emails. Do you know how I can check for this?
