I want to be able to take multiple shots as he is in action. What should I look for when looking for a camera that can do this? I also would like to take close ups, so I want a good zoom...any advice is appreciated!

One of the main roads near my home was widened. They added pretty landscaping and flowers in periodic areas in between the 2 lanes of traffic. The trees they planted are young and around their trunks are green garbage bag looking things. Does anyone know what this could be and what the purpose of them are?

Just curious. I pulled out my dog's vaccination records from the vet and it says she had her DHPPC on 5/4/06 and next to it he wrote 3 year and circled it. I thought only rabies vaccinations came in 3 year. Does anyone know for sure?

I have bought most of my dogs. I have never been questioned so much from a breeder who is selling a dog than an adoption agency who is trying to adopt a dog out. Maybe, when buying, the breeders in my area know enough about me (due to my back round in showing dogs) to not be so cautious, but the adopting people...gosh..they are so picky!! And...I even have contacts that can back me up that I am a good owner.....do you find it harder to adopt than buy?

I think they are all so beautiful, I don't know which on to choose. If you were to choose, which one would it be and why?

I am either on the computer (here on Y?A), watching a movie or TV show or talking to friends or family on the phone. How about you?

Okay...so Thanksgiving is over....are you ready for the next holiday? I had to work today and when I got home, my neighbors already had their house all decorated for Christmas with the lights, wreaths...etc. Are you already ready for the next big holiday?

It's now later in the evening the day after and I am just now thinking of eating. I was so full...I couldn't eat today!! And, yesterday I didn't even go back for seconds!! Why is it that eating Thanksgiving dinner makes you so full??

What is it that intrigues you about this show? I find it exciting every week and find my self wishing I didn't see that "to be continued.." at the end!

I have mice in my basement! What do I do? I hate killing things...but these little guys carry disease and destroy things. I hate the idea of using Decon....and I I don't think I could deal with seeing a mouse dead in a trap. Are there other options out there?

If you use after the date...is there a possibility the contents could be rotten? Or is it just a date that says to use by a date to guarantee the best taste?

I am curious, because I am making out my shopping list for thanksgiving dinner and as I do inventory, I have some sweet potatoes and canned pumpkin that is out dated on the can. I am wondering if I can still use it this year.

Did you prepare for the grooming costs or grooming commitment with your breed before you bought or adopted? How are you handling the commitment?

Or did you do thorough research or put serious thought before adopting when adding an additional member to your family?

If so, how is it today? Is it healthy?

Just curious.....just watched this video on the large franchise, Petland. They insisted to their buyers they don't buy from puppy mills, although, an investigation proved otherwise.
