Does the DHPPC vaccination come in a 3 year formula?

Just curious. I pulled out my dog's vaccination records from the vet and it says she had her DHPPC on 5/4/06 and next to it he wrote 3 year and circled it. I thought only rabies vaccinations came in 3 year. Does anyone know for sure?

With recent studies they have been doing on vaccinations, many vets are now suggesting a 3 year schedule for the regular vaccinations. They have not changed the vaccine either. It is now believed that annual vaccinations are too much and that our pets don't need that. We are essentially over vaccinating. So a lot of vets are going with the 3 year schedule. It is even thought that some of the vaccines can last 7 yrs or the life of the animal.

I have been doing the 3 yr schedule for my dogs for a few years now.

It comes in one formula but now vets have found the immunity lasts 3 years and should be vaccinating at 3 year intervals, not 1

Yes the DHPP is a 3 year vaccination. After the 1 year booster it should never be given any more often then every 3 years.

Just a note the "C" (Coronavirus) is no longer recommended for any dog and should not be given.

***** there are no laws in Maine or any place else that governs DHPP vaccinations, only Rabies *********
