when a gift is presented at a farewell reception for a coworker should it be shown to audience?
My boss was given a farewell reception and our supervisor presented him our departing gift. She did not show the gift which was a beautiful pen and portfolio. Should she have displayed the gift? I thought she should have, so I was disappointed because no one got to see it.
