I'm looking for another water purifier. Water Wise has raised their prices too much! Sears no long makes one. What do you recommend for less than $300?

I have a small, new chest type freezer that needs to be moved to another location. It will only fit in my vehicle laying on the side. The drive is about 5 hours. Can this be done without messing up the compressor?

Over the years, I have purchased many diffferent types of coffee makers (some very expensive), all types of ground and whole beans. I use cold filtered water. Someone told me to add a pinch of salt. That did not help. Any suggestions?

We have a successful business, but I honestly don't enjoy the job and especially working with my husband. There are days when it's just @#$%^&! And then I have to go home with him and am reminded of the bad day.

How do you describe car sounds, anyway?

I have just started taking aerial photos for our business/web site. Do I need a filter? Or rely on photoshop? Opening the window freaks me out so I have been shooting thru the glass.

It was suggested to increase the ISO (did that) and set the histogram to high contrast ( have not been able to figure this out)

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Do doctors want to cure you or give you meds to take care of the symptoms (only) and have you come back every few months?

One of my employees (young fellow) has high blood pressure and other health issues. The doctor gave him BP pills. Yes, his BP is now lower. Did the doctor ask him about his lifestyle, diet, weight, smoking? And MAYBE he could lower his BP by changing these bad habits? No, he pulled out the prescription pad. It was a quick fix.

Now, the poor boy had gout probably related to the BP meds, so the doctor gave him pills for that!

In the meantime, my insurance premiums keep rising which affects everyone.

Is this job security for the medical profession? Is alternative medical care a better choice?

My son will be graduating college and will need to update his wardrobe. He has trouble finding dress and casual dress pants to fit his muscular thighs. He is 6'6" tall.

Jeans are not a problem because of looser fit styles. The dressier slacks needed for job interviews (for sport management) are the problem.

Should he seek an clothing/style advisor?

Ok, I admit, I'm not into dressy clothes.

I own my own construction company so my closet is filled with denim jeans, shirts, work boots and the like. I like nice quality clothing but always go to the casual look because it fits my lifestyle.

I have this nice denim blazer that looks good with a starched white blouse, but jeans just don't look right. What type of pants to wear? Khaki? I live in Texas so boots are not a problem!

A smaller section of my back yard is circled with large oak trees. The ground is covered with ivy . Every year I fight to get the leaves out. Raking, leaf blower you name it.

Can I cover the ivy with a mesh or bird netting and then each week "draw" it up by the corners and drag it off? Is there a stronger layer I could use?
