  • What is Credit card fraud and how do you prevent it?

What are the types of credit card fraud and what is the best way to prevent it? Just wondering since I just saw on my credit report that my ex husband had used my social security number, on all things, doctor's bills and never paid...and this was 4 years AFTER the divorce.

  • My daughter is 9 and believes in God how can I help her understand her beliefs better?

My daughter is 9 years old and has never gone to church a day in her life. But bless her wonderful heart and her great friends she came to me the other day to tell me about her belief in God. I am so very proud of her and want to help her with her belief, but now I am concerned about churches in town. I am a catholic but my husband is lutheran(yes mixed). We both have strong faith, but we have yet to find a church that we are comfortable in. Here is the kicker my son who we both love and who our daughter idolizes has said straight out that there is no god and he doesn't believe at all in him. I don't want my son's beliefs to color the budding beliefs of my daughter. Is there a good way to handle this? My son is 17 and will soon be 18 and he has this tendency to belittle a person's belief in god. (He has done it to friends of his).

  • How can you tell if your teenage son may be gay?

There is a lot of things about my son that I love and I want to understand him better. He is really into wearing women's clothes. But he has girlfriends. The other day one of his friends informed me that the hickey he had on his neck wasn't from his girlfriend but from a guy friend. How can I find out if this is true without messing things up and making him feel like he is on the defensive. He is only 17 and I am not sure how to handle this. Any suggestions for me?

  • I am trying to quite smoking does anyone have any advice?

I started smoking at 22 stopped when I was pregnant and breast feeding then started back up again when I was no longer breast feeding. I have tried hypnosis(that was a laugh), nicotine gum, patch as well as using wellbutain(prescribed from my doctor). I want to quit totally this time. I want to be around to see my daughter grow up and get married and have babies. I can keep myself busy during the day to where I don't feel like I need to smoke. My problem is the night time. I wake up having muscle spams, sweats and irratibility that is through the roof. What can I do to help this process along without alienating everyone around me with my crappy attitude. I know I have the need...it's getting there that is killing me.

  • I need help with my 17 year old teenage son!?

Our 17 year old teenage son is totally out of control. He moved back in with his father and I When he was 14 due to a bad situation back home with him mother. He was left alone for a week at a time. He did horrible in school getting D's and F's. We took away privelages and grounded him sometimes months on end. He has been caught sleeping with 14 year old girls and to top it all off will disappear for days at a time and then come home like nothing has happened. He burns himself and has lost a lot of weight. He is 6 foot and only weighs maybe 145. He dropped out of school because either his friends did or graduated. They are all moving away. We tried to get him counseling and he ran away. We now think he is using drugs and he has refused a drug test. We want to kick him out. He will turn 18 in a few months. We are at our wits end and are desperate for any advice. Our son is on self destruct and we cant even force a drug test per the law of our state without HIS (?!?!?!) consent. HELP!
