This process was not put out to bid. City employees are free to use a city issued Visa credit card to purchase fuel at any other local convenience store. The city manager is at odds with the business owner and threatened to terminate city employees for doing business at the establishment. I don t believe this is proper. Any thoughts?

There are two Muslim operated convenience stores in our area. They both keep the left entry door locked and the right door remains unlocked. When asked if they forgot to unlock it, they said no, it must remain locked. WHY???

Please do not tell me to "provide a scratch post or gently pull him away" when he is scratching my furniture. He has a scratch post. If I could spend all day with him, gently correcting him may work. I have tried spraying him with water. Nothing works! He is mostly Persian and very stubborn. I need some alternatives to de-clawing him. Any help is greatly appreciated!

My Mom's broke her ankle last night and found out a surgeon previously removed the upper half of her tibia. She had a vascular graft in 2005 for avascular necrosis, but there was never any mention of bone being removed. The x-ray showed at least 6 inches of the bone was cut off. I have to imagine the missing bone could not help her stability. I am very curious as to any good reason why her bone was removed. Any thoughts are very appreciated.

Six months after my attorney entered her appearance on my behalf, she is demanding I sign an engagement letter or threatening to withdraw from the case. She has always been paid in a very timely manner. Is this really necessary?

If a Kansas bank issued a secured commercial loan in 2006 for a property located in Missouri, should the bank have used Kansas or Missouri loan documents? The loan docs and modifications were signed in both states. All of the property is located in Missouri. The bankruptcy was filed on May 09 and the time to file a proof of claim has expired. The discharge is scheduled for later this week. A creditor that was listed on the original filing has now filed a Motion for Relief from Stay. The creditor is for a personal guarantee. At this time, no amounts are due. The attorney wants to procede with the discharge and says discharge will have no effect on the Motion for Relief. Is this proper?
